An STV collavorative Trek story

I took this idea from the 3 words story in F&G.
But I thought it would be good to turn it into a serious, sensible collaborative story.

This is my start

Chapter 1: NCC-001

Captain Travis Mayweather surveyed the bridge of the USS Cochrane, NCC-1. Such a beautiful, sleek ship. It was a shame he would have to take it into battle rather than following the 'to boldly go' Fleet mandate.
But Admiral Archer had decreed so, and he would follow orders, especially from his old friend and captain.
"Commander T'Mar" he addressed the female Vulcan at Conn.
"Bring the phase cannons online, and the spatial torpedoes." She did so.
"Ensign George Kirk" he continued, "set course for the Romulan frontier. We're taking back Outpost Three"
The Cochrane slipped into warp in a spectral blur.

Mayweather retreated to his ready room; he knew the trip to Outpost 3 would take several hours. He sat at his desk and stared at the mission statement before him, he read it silently to himself, �Outpost 3 was a Human-Vulcan scientific endeavor in the Octagen Sector, Its main mission was to study a rare rogue star that had found its way to our galaxy from Andromeda, The outpost was attacked by Romulans on Star date 1254.2 and all personnel on board was executed.� This had occurred just a little less than two weeks prior, Travis sifted uneasily in his chair.

Since the founding of the Federation of Planets, The new planetary alliance has had a steady and at times uneasy peace; it was hard for some long time enemies like the Vulcans and Andorians to come to peaceful solutions. But the Romulan threat changed that, no one had ever even seen this menace, and yet they managed to strike fear and hate into all that hear the name Romulan.

The Cochrane was the first of many collaborative ships to be designed by the Federation, and she contained the best that all the Federation planets had to offer. Each planet was building their own Founder-Class ship, and each would bare the name of the scientist that discovered Warp for that particular planet. Travis could not help but feel saddened knowing this, the federation was supposed to harbor Peace and understanding, and yet now they were fighting this war with an unseen hateful race. �Captain,� Kirk�s unmistakable husky voice piped through the comm. System, "Approaching Outpost 3.�

Travis prepared for battle, �Alright,� he responded, �Red Alert, All Hands to Battle Stations!�
