Hey I'm just starting to get into this show, it's pritty good.
But I have a question:
Can anyone tell me the first episode that the 'Diffiant' was in?

The Defiant first appeared in "The Search, Part 1".

It got captured by the Jem Hadar and the crew was put in a holosimulation that had them going against the dominion in a sort of a war simulation.

Actually, It is officially a warship, used in the Dominin War and to fight the Borg, with upgrades such as Ablative Armor, and Pulse Phaser Cannons...

Well, it "The Search Part 1" Sisko said it was classified as an escort vessel, but unofficially a warship.

The Defiant was constructed as a warship to fight the Borg. However, it was retasked to DS9 when Sisko requested it. ("The Search, Part 1")

when Sisko got the defant, he became a captain, for he was a commander before that. The Defant was captured and modified by the dominon, so it was able to goes against most other starfleet ships, which was useful when the changings attack earth.
