Luke and Leia...

I have a question about when they grow up. Because if ep. 3 is set like ten years after Ep.2 or even less then that...wouldn't they have to have Luke and Leia when they're like children...because there's not really enough time for them to grow up unless they do that right? Aren't the like 18 in a new hope? And Ep.1 is 30 years before... I dunno maybe I'm wrong. Will somebody help me understand this?!?!?!?!

ep.1- anakin is 9, Padme 14
ep.2- anakin turns 20 right before the movie, Padme is 24
ep3? (there's only tens years left though!)

It will probably jump from one time to another...

I.E. Luke and Leia are born... lets say maybe a month after Padme and Anakin Get married. More or less they will be shipped off becase Anakin Goes Nuts an supposedly kills Padme.

It may jump a year or two later to where:

He Fights Obi-Wan and loses, is scared for life and becomes Lord Vader.
The Clone wars continue Many Jedi are killed in the Great Jedi Purge.
Palpatine becomes Emperor with all his power.
Yoda leaves for Dagobah.
Many Jedi Children I'm guessing Escape from the Jedi Purge, I'm basing this on the fact that after Return of the Jedi Luke goes out and Finds Many Young Jedi.

yeah and then he goes to Yavin4 and all that stuff but still...it would have to jump around like that. And it would have to be like 9months from after they got married because she didn't look 8 months pregnant in ep.2.lol.

I actually have this one figured out!

1) Episode 3 is set about two years after Attack of the Clones.
2) Luke and Leia are babies (I'm assuming)
3) Anakin is now Palpatine's apprentice as well as Obi-Wan's (?)
4) Padme dies (not in childbirth, because Leia said that she had vague memories of her mother)
5) Ani and Obi-Wan fight, Anakin gets tossed into a volcano, I think, i.e. the Darth Vader outfit.

This is just my opinion, the only thing that I know for sure is the time frame.

Yep, Episode 3 will be 2 years after AOTC----that's still 20 years before ANH.

ok, I get it. But I don't think he gets thrown into a volcano...he has to wear the suit because the dark side is ruining his body or whatever...that's what it said in 'Shadows of the Empire' anyways.

Wrong... The Dark Side's not ruining his body and he didn't get tossed into a volcano.

After his fight with Obi-Wan he was Scared Very badly and Near death.
He dawns a life support suit to keep himself alive, but it doesn't look threatening enough so he has one modified and he becomes Lord Vader

It's General Star Wars knowlage.. most of it comes from Reading The Cronologythe rest is feeling and words that Obi-Wan and Vader share in their fight... also it's what you hear from yoda and Vader. If you watch the movies and listen to certain things you'll begin to understand

Well it said something different in "shadows of the empire"...thats weird although the books do clash a bit at times...like with the effects of the ysylmari (spelling?).
