At the end we hear the doctor took a craft and tried to find his own back to Alpha Quadrant. What do you think would of happened? A successful voyager or destruction? Time wasn't a factor for him...

If he did make it back to Earth it would have been very strange for him. He'd be completely alone.

Yeah I know, I've thought of that too. I was just a weird ep, just in between other eps, out of the regular storyline.
I think Voyager didn't make it home. Don't know really why I thought that when I first saw that ep, I just thought.
I think they'd be pretty surprised if he just showed up at the Federation!

i just watched that ep today!

yeah it was a really gd ep. but so sad! i mean he's all alone! hw do u think he'd cope without having anyone to talk to or have gossip from!
especially since he got irritable wen it was just him and seven in 'one'!

do u think in the end he would just give up and find a planet to live on? or do u think he'd make it all the wat home?

If the voyager crew didnt make it then he would be a sort of hero, since they would have no other records of voyager! well thats if they still remember voyager coz all the close family's would be dead!

wait a minute hw did he travle everywhere? he didnt have his moble emiter!

They were like 700 years ahead so I'm sure they would have had some form of convenient technology

Yep, a very lonely life he would have and probably would have been capture

Yeah we know Birdy, but the Doc. stays the Doc. even if he's a backup, and the Doc. is the Doc. and the Doc. made it back to Earth and so will the Doc.

I think this is a storyline that was not in the regular one. Because after that the doc was back on voy, etc etc..
I which ep besides this one did they encounter them then?

YEAH, I get that, .. I mean that it's not a part of the original storyline. In the next ep the Doc is still on voyager, and he never made it home on his own. Do you understand what I mean? It was just an ep in between I think, just a fun story to tell. IMO.

Yep that's right...Voyager may have may have not encountered them (If Admiral Janeway hadn't gone back they took like an extra 22 years...They could have encountered them during this), the doctors backup program was found and activated 700 years after it had all happened so no matter Voyager was home.

The backup doctor cleared up the wrong assumptions and headed for Earth in attempt to find out what happened to Voyager.
