"If music be the food of love, let it play"
I'm sure I'm not the only one here obsessed with music. This thread is for any musical discussion you could possibly think of. If you have a band, let everyone else know. What are your favourite bands? Und so weiter.
I'd like to start by mentioning one of the greatest bands today: The Brian Jonestown Massacre. If you haven't heard them, download their music NOW. I'd recommend the album "Tepid Peppermint Wonderland". Oh, and also: all of their music is free, so you don't have to worry about any sort of copyright infringement or anything.

Well, I'm not in a band, but I am currently trying to teach myself how to play the guitar. It's slow going, but I have much patience.
Figure I'll throw this in as well. I really like progressive rock, but one group in particular that is awesome is Dream Theater. I like pretty much everything they've made, which is rare for me.

Music is like my life!! Hi - I dance, so that's an obvious fact. I feel like I cannot function in a day without music!

Yeah, I need music to function as well. I used to be in a band, but not anymore. I miss it, though. Being in a band is awesome.
Oh, and if anyone is interested in Psychedelic Rock, you should get your hands on "Nuggets", a legendary compilation of Psychedelic Rock songs from 1965-1968. Recently got hold of it myself, and let me tell you: it's AWESOME.

I've always like a lot of different types of music, jazz, classical, pop, etc... Never liked metal until Dan and Gary gave me a couple of Metallica songs, and I was very surprised to find I like a lot of that, too.
We ALWAYS have some sort of music on, if not for ourselves, for the baby, who also seems to like Metallica, too. I blame Dan.

I like all kinds of music. I have a whole bunch of nearly everything on my iPod.
Anywho, my absolutely favorite artist is Jack Johnson.

I love music, I played in my School band for 9 years so yea. I tend to like more classical music than the music of today.

I like Wagner and Beethoven, in terms of classical music. But mostly I'm into Psychedelic and other 60's-70's Rock.
Flight of the Valkyries is cool as *beep*, though.
