Major Aaelan Cosiris of the Tal Shiar

Major Cosiris has had a spectacular career in the both the sea navy and the space navy of the Romulan Star Empire. He was the youngest officer to make Sublieutenant, and served as first officer to Subcommander Taris of the Haakona (STNG Second Season �Contagion�). He later made Subcommander himself and was the first captain of the warbird Valdore. That warbird was severely damaged in a dogfight with Enterprise-E under Jean-Luc Picard. But Subcommander Cosiris� exemplary military record and shrewd strategy drew notice from the Tal Shiar before repairs were complete. The Valdore was given to Commander Donatra and damaged beyond repair in a battle against the Reman battlecruiser Scimitar (Star Trek: Nemesis). Ironically, this time in a temporary alliance with that same Enterprise-E still under Picard. But the former subcommander now emerged as Major Cosiris, an agent of the feared Tal Shiar organization. The cunning and cold loyalty of Major Cosiris has impressed Tal Shiar directors and praetor alike, and since played determining roles in the Romulan agenda to bring the Federation to its knees.
