Apparently Spider-man 4 has been confirmed and is schedueled to hit theatres in the summer of 2009. It is rumored that the film will feature Carnage and the Lizard.

If they let the series die it would be one of the dumbest things ever. Why would anyone do that? I mean if you're making that much money why stop? They're awesome movies and Mysterio is one of the fruitiest characters ever.

i agree with robbie, why let the series die if its making so much cash...same goes for the pirates series by the way, but we'll save that for another day...I can't wait til this comes out and i'll definately go see it, just not on opening night cuz i can't afford that anymore, darn expensive movies nowadays.

Are you sure they're making a part 4? I heard the director and the two main actors (Peter Parker and Mary Jane) were not going to do a fourth anytime soon...

They announced it before the third one even came out. Check out the link. I'm pretty sure the actors will do it too. They'll never make close to that much money anywhere else.

Just read that sony has made payment to marvel the movie is going to hit theatres in 2011. Sony is in contract talks with Mcguire and Dunst.

Mcguire and director Sam Raimi have agreed to terms but Dunst still hasn't signed yet.
