well, since my sci-fi anime thread generated so much interest, i've decided to follow it up with a similar one. i didn't read comics growing up (except for calvin & hobbes, garfield, etc.) but recently i started looking into sci-fi comic books as i think they're a great source of artistic inspiration.
i'm interested to see if anyone here knows of any good free or non-free comic books. i'm kinda entertaining the thought of creating my own web comic, but mostly i just like reading good sci-fi and looking at good artwork.
recently i've come across some good free online comics. NYC 2123: Dayender is a pretty interesting free comic that you can read online (they even have a version formatted for browsing with the PSP). Chaos PhD is another free online comic that's a throwback to the late 60's to early 70's silver age of comic books written with a wry sense of humor.
