After he stepped off the plane, Benedict did not kiss the ground, as his predecessor, Pope John Paul II, often did during visits. |

The Holy Father is in America! It has been wonderful being able to see him and watch him everyday on television. Even better was being able to watch His Holiness say mass in DC on CNN!
