So, I can't believe there hasn't been a topic about this yet. Who has seen it? I did, and I loved it.

I'm currently going through the stargate series by watching the dvds. I'm on the 8th season of SG-1 and the first season of Atlantis. I'm probably going to have to wait for the movies to come out on DVD. It will take me a while to catch up to everything else thats happened.

So, I have recently come to the opinion that the soundtrack for this movie needs to have come out yesterday. Fortunately, they are talking about making a soundtrack, which I will go out and buy as soon as it's released.

I bought the DVD but I'm still on season 10 of SG-1 and season 3 of Atlantis. I'm pretty sure the movie takes place (chronologically) after the fourth season of Atlantis (I'm assuming this is how it takes place based on release dates that I looked up on imdb.com). So I think I'm gonna have to wait until season 4 comes out and I'm done watching it. Then I'll get to see the ark of truth.

It doesn't really have anything to do with Atlantis. It's safe to just skip ahead, I'd think.

I'm tentative about doing that. There could be just one line that gives something away. I'm kinda ocd when it comes to my stargate watching. lol. - I accidentally watched an atlantis episode out of order and I ended up finding out that the promethius was destroyed (I should have seen it happen in the sg-1 episode first)

SPOILER SGA S4 (episode 1)

Think it takes place before S4 as Carter's in Atlantis in S4...

It's a good movie, but intrepid is right...really doesn't have much to do with Atlantis.

I just watched it last night. I did wait until I finished season 4 though. As far as I can tell it takes place before ATL season 4. I liked it a lot. One thing I noticed though is that SG-1 didn't walk through the stargate once.
