The Ascent was great, along with many others, especially the Odo/Quark-centric episodes, however, the funniest episode would be "Trials and Tribble-ations". I loved Bashir's banter about predestination paradoxes and himself being his grandfather and whatnot.

Both of those are great. But then there's "Take Me Out To The Holosuite." Rom trying to throw the ball in.

I can't remember the episode name, but I thought the episode where Quark had gone home to talk to his mother and she was dating the Grand Nagus and him and his father were arguing about her wearing clothes. I thought that was a funny episode. And episodes with a lot of the banter between Odo and Quark are funny too.

Somehow I think Babel was great fun.

I'm not sure I can deem just one episode the funniest. I really liked "Trials and Tribble-ations," "Take Me Out to the Holosuite," "Badda-Bing Badda-Bang," and several others for their humor. That being said, this is easily one of my favorite scenes:

"Take Me Out to the Holosuite"

A Vulcan runner, it turns out, hasn't touched home plate yet. As such, Odo doesn't make a call.

Nog: (Looks at Odo, confused) What's wrong?
(Pause)
O'Brien: He didn't touch home, Nog!
Nog: (Looks at Odo again) Is that true?
Odo: Hmmph!
Nog: (Panicking) Well, what do I do?!?
Worf: Find him and kill him!

Ack - Avenger sntached my quote before I could get it in

(Odo practicing his calls in his office)

Sisko: Lets hear some chatter!
...hey Batter, Batter, Batter
Worf: DEATH TO THE OPPOSITION!

I loved this episode as it was a much needed break from all the doom and gloom at that point in the series, but the only gripe I had with it was with as Vulcans would be physically superior to the Niners in virtually every aspect of the game, its a stretch that the Niners didnt get run-ruled within 3 innings

I just saw Civil Defense last night. I think it has a great plot. It's not one of those comedy episodes, but it makes me laugh. Everytime they found an idea to solve the problem and implemented it, the situation got worse. What makes me laugh more is when Gul Dukat who supposed to be the one that hold the power to make DS9 crew gave him what he wants, got trapped too. After all the speech and threat he said. LOL.
I also like the way Garak teasing Dukat that he tried to impress Kira. Both Dukat and Kira were blushing. Kira and Dukat? Now that's an interesting couple

I loved "The Magnificent Ferengi"

I thought it was hilarious when the Vorta (that everyone hated) said "I hate Ferengi" as his dying words!

For me it's a tie between "Trials and Tribble-ations" and "Profit and Lace"

I must agree, this was the funiest episode they could have possibly come up with. I loved it!

DS9 wrote:
Bashir: What are you eating?
O'Brien: I'm not eating; I'm chewing.
Bashir: Chewing what?
O'Brien: Gum. It's traditional. I had the replicator create me some.
Bashir: They just chewed it?
O'Brien: No, they infused it with flavor.
Bashir: What did you infuse it with?
O'Brien: Scotch.

I think we have covered most of the contenders but I found Little Green Men very funny and I feel ity would be in the final of contenders.
