PostFri Jul 06, 2007 11:49 am    That one episode...

It will be a miracle if anyone figures this out! So here it goes anyway....

Remember that Holodeck program Captian Janeway used to run - It was set in the victorian times and The man -the master of the house- fell in love with Janeway who was the governess 'Lucy' - There were two little kids a girl and a boy - and the crazy housekeeper who tried to murder Janeway in her Hallucinations -- I can't remember the names of the episodes in which she accessed that program.

Well the question is does anyone know what novel that holonovel is based on? If it is based on a book?

I know I'm going out on a whim and I hope someone out there understands my rambelings!!! If you can think of anything I would be much obliged!

Thank you

WOW! That's a really great question that I can honestly say I have no idea what the answer is, but I really have to give you props for that question!

The episode is "Persistence of Vision" from Season 2, and I *think* the novel is an offshoot or recreation of Jane Eyre

She also accessed the program in "Learning Curve." I think that was the second time she accessed it though...I may be wrong.

It's loosely based on Jane Eyre, but not Jane Eyre.

If that makes any sense.

I think you're right. I'm pretty sure she accessed it more that twice anyway.
