Best Spider-man movie by far in my opinion. I went to see the midnight show. Two kids dressed as Venom and Spider-man and fought each other in front of the screen. It was so funny. I loved everything about it. I'm a guy but I still loved all of the romantic type stuff in the movie. Honestly when I left the theatre I wanted to be as good to Hannah (my love) as Peter is to MJ. Anyways, you all need to see this movie. It's amazing.

I wasn't very pleased. Sorry, but if screenwriters like that crap are allowed in Hollywood, then I think we've begun the descent of film as we know it.

I liked it, 7/10.
Not the best though, 2 was the best.
Everything was rushed, there where 3 villains in it and they all had to share their time. Not to mention the time that was wasted with Peters "bad" personality(which wasn't nearly as evil as it should have been). And what was up with that part in the jazz club?
Anyway, Sandman was the best part.
Quote: | Venom was weak, not as interesting as he should be, way to short as the real Venom only appeared at the ending. Though the part where Brock gets taken over was good.
Harry's death was good. Normally i don't like it when they kill off villains. But this time it was right.

Love to see the Sinister Six in the next one. Though instead of Octopus you can get Rhino or Shocker in it..... Maybe the Lizard too? Or would they have to rush every fight again then?

I really really really really really want to see it. I can't until the weekend after next though, I promised my partner I'd wait until he came home to see it. >.< I loved the other Spidermans and such. Comic book movies rock.

Quote: | Spiderman is NOT a *beep* Emo!!! Tobey Macguire can't pull that off and it lasted way too long. The whole *beep* theater was laughing once he comed his hair over with his fingers. and really... lines like "We're friends!" "Best friends!" and "I love you in the way I loved your father." Crap. |
Good story, crap script. That's all.

well if everybody laughed I guess the writers got the response they wanted. All I know is I liked it. Also, they dialog is the same as it was in the comics. That's the way it should stay because that's whats kept it around for 40+ years.

whatev. I don't think it's movie worthy dialog. The other 2 weren't nearly that bad.

A friend strongly reccomended I give this movie a miss, though the book was ok. He then proceeded to tell me all about it, so I may see it just for the effects.

I don't need to actually go see it. I have a customer at work who makes a point of comming around and telling people everything about every movie that comes out in annoying detail, and then gives a list about 300 long as to why people shouldn't spend thier money on it. This one made 500.

I thought it was better than the other ones in my opinion. It was worth Charlie's money to go see too.

I thought it was awesome. Stupid critics keep giving it bad reviews and I don't know what they're talking about. They must be talking about a different movie. Only problem I had with it was Venom wasn't as badass as I'd hoped.

I thought the movie was great... I d'know. My husband and I went to see it and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. Parts of it were quite funny or heartfelt. I'd totally recommend seeing it, and have no idea what people who dislike it are talking about. I guess it's a hit or miss thing.

I also saw the midnight showing with a couple of my friends from work and we all agreed that this wasn't the greatest and I didn't recommend it to any of my friends. I agree with Sam Kenobi about the whole script thing and how it was pretty much crap and didn't make much sense. Way too much mushy stuff for my taste, way too predictable, and they killed off Venom way too early...I mean he lives much longer in the comics and even gets his own series! Come on! When they make the fourth, it so better not be like this or i'll just sleep straight through it and bypass the dvd

If you go back and look at the comics, even the live-action series and the cartoon, you'll see that Spider-man was always a love story. It adds to the plot.
