Quote: | Chavez to United States: 'Go to Hell!'
CARACAS, Venezuela President Hugo Chavez told U.S. officials to "Go to hell!" on his weekly radio and TV show Sunday for what he called unacceptable meddling after Washington raised concerns about a measure to grant Venezuela's fiery leftist leader broad lawmaking powers.

The more this guy opens his big mouth, the more I find nothing wrong with Pat Robertson's suggestion that the US assassinate the man. What an idiot.

I have to say that I'm with RM on this one ... Umm .... I mean ... he can say whatever he wants, I guess, but ... enough is enough, and if he doesn't shut his mouth someone is going to do it for him .... with a small tactile missile.

I don't see what the big deal is. He can talk, but that's all he can do. Who cares?

Let him make a fool out of himself in front of the whole international community. I know people my age that act more mature than he does. Let him keep yapping as far as I'm concerned.

I agree with Mark, Kevin, Aaron and WeAz. Who cares.
That's such an eclectic group to agree with, just had to note that,

My only concerns over Chavez relate to oil (specifically with the oil support he gives Cuba) and the influence he has over other leaders in the region. Everything he does could have more of an impact than you all think, though he's not worth much concern over, I do agree.

^ Then I suggest we change to alternative sources, and quit depending on countries like those in the middle east and others that hate us.
I also agree with the others. Big words for, to take a quote from Firefly, "A sad little king of a sad little hill."

Not just an evangelist, a televangelist, because you know that's where it's at.

What about Osama bin Laden and his ilk? And what, then, would be the "best" kind of religious person out there?

Try focusing on the actual religion other then the extremeists. I could call Christianity a ruthless religion because of the inquisition or the crusades. The actions of a few should not speak volumes about the many.

One who is tolerant of other ideas and does not cast doubt or blame on something they refuse to understand.

Link, I was rebutting
Quote: | The worst kind of Religious person out there. |
That is all. Osama bin Laden is a religious person, and WeAz said that televangelists of Robertson's type are the "worst kind[s] of Religious pe[ople] out there." And so I asked the right rebuttal question: What about bin Laden? How is he not the worst kind of religious person out there?

For Once, RM is right. Pat Robertson is the second worst kind of religious person. Bin Laden, and all religious terrorists are the worst.

But this discussion isn't about Robertson and bin Laden. We've gone way off topic, lol.
Anyways, Chavez. He's an idiot and a gadfly. But what do you get from a good buddy of good 'ol Fidel Castro?
