While not an explicit Dion supporter, I think that he was probably the best choice of the three main candidates, for the reasons that will continue to be restated by columnists for the next three months.
I'm not so clear on my feelings about saying "Prime Minister Dion". Considering that saying "Prime Minister Harper" doesn't make me spontaneously combust, I don't think that PM Dion would be any worse. He just doesn't immediately strike me as a guy who would be Prime Minister.
If I were him though, I'd be pretty darn confident. After all, he'd have to really screw up to be worse than either of the last two Liberal party leaders.
