Though the VGRS by Christie Golden are my favourite, the intrigue of Battle Lines has to make it a best for the Voyager books. Though it was kinda obvious that the Marauder was an alien design

i could not agree with you more. battle lines is the best vygr book evermade. and no other voygr author seems to compare with golden.
