Imagine a Universe where oppression rules the galaxy with an iron fist. Imagine a place where freedom is only a dream, where morality is reversed and an Empire leave nothing but death and destruction. Imagine a place where people are not equals, but considered objects, acting as slaves to the state. Imagine constant war, death, pain, suffering, and imagine that to the eyes of the oppressors, it's just another day in the office. Imagine an empire that even fights amongst it self, for personal gain... Imagine...

The Mirror Universe

The Story
The year is 2156, it has been over a year since the power struggle on the U.S.S. Defiant (NCC-1764), where ultimately, Hoshi Sato declared her self Empress. The war with the Rebellion has continued, stretching the resources of the Empire thin, however rumors of a new and powerful starship in the making, has persisted, and propaganda shows that despite the lengthy war, it goes well for the Empire. Recently, there have been attacks on the borders of Terran Space, by a race known as the Gorn. The Empire has had dealings with the Gorn Hegemony, but for the most part the two parties stayed away from each other, however these attacks and raids cannot go unpunished. Empress Sato has ordered an invasion of Gorn Space, and a lesson to be taught, by any means necessary...

This is the story of the I.S.S. Hornet and its travels into Gorn space, to follow orders of the Empress, and to lead the war effort, on a new frontthe Gorn front.

Database
Uniforms
Patches
There are patches that show where the individual is serving within Starfleet. The right shoulder for both Starfleet and MACO is the Empire symbol, the left shoulder, as the actual assignment patch.

Divisions
There are different Divisions within the Uniform, Starfleet (Command/Navigation; Engineering/Security; Science/Medical) and MACO.

Ranks
The ranks are the level of an officer on a Starship or station. The higher the rank the higher the power the person may have, although it really depends on your exact position.. If the person above you were to suffer an accident, one would rise in rank, and position...

Starfleet
Note: None Commissioned Officers (Chiefs Specialist etc..)Wear Rank epaulets, but they do not contain officers rank insignias Crewmen wore none.
Captain; Commander; Lieutenant Commander; Lieutenant; Ensign; Enlisted; Non Com (Chief, Specialist Etc...); Crewman
(None)

MACO
Major; Sergeant; Corporal; Private

Starfleet Uniform
Note: Non Commissioned Officers do not have uniform decorations, or officers sashes and shoulder braces. Females also do not wear the shoulder braces, but do wear sashes.
Male

Female

MACO
Male

Female

Both
Space Suit

Side Arms
Starfleet
The typical officer will always be armed with a Phase Pistol, and a Dagger.
Phase Pistol:
The Phase Pistol is a step up from the older EM-33 Plasma Pistol. There are only two settings, stun and kill. Once in a while, an officer tends to 'forget' which setting, is which, and the person shot is...disposed of. It is powered by a power cell. The smart thing to do each morning would be to check the cell's charge. Wouldn't want to run into an ambush with a non working Phase Pistol...

Dagger
The dagger is probably one of the more used weapon. Fights amongs the crew members usually end up with wounds from daggers, if not being the cause of death.

Known Starships
I.S.S. Essex
Captain Harrison served as Security officer
I.S.S. Challenger
Harrison served as third officer, destroyed in 21??
I.S.S. Enterprise (NX-01)
Commanded by Captain Maximilian Forrest. Destroyed in 2155
I.S.S. Avenger (NX-09)
Destroyed by USS Defiant in 2155

This caused the SO, and Julian to rise in rank. Julian transferred to the I.S.S. Challenger as third officer, and hid his ambitions. He did however, took the chance when he saw it and made it to second officer, and a department head, in charge of Security and MACO operations, much to the anger of the MACO Major. Julian stayed on the Challenger to become the first officer. In a combat mission, the Challenger was destroyed, Julian was one of the few that escaped death. Before rescue, Julian lead a team of Terran officers and managed to take over the ship when the pods were brought on board. As a reward, he was promoted to Captain, and given command of the I.S.S. When she was fifteen years old, Helena was sexually assaulted by an old hermit, a former MACO officer, with whom she had been staying with in the slums. However, she managed to fight back and kill the man, by stabbing the man in the eye with her pocket knife, the only memento of her parents. After this event, Helena had chosen to pursue a career in Starfleet, fed up by a life on the streets. She wanted power. Starfleet was power. At the age of seventeen, Helena enrolled at Starfleet Academy, in San Francisco. During her time at the Academy, Helena had been intimately involved with one of her teachers, to ensure she had received proper marks. In the end, Helena graduated from the Academy, with honors, as a communications officer. Now, aged twenty-one, Helena was stationed on Earth for two years. Her fatherr, named Jack worked in Starfleet Headquarters, many time seeing the Emporer himself. Almost from the moment when she could walk, Ayida's mother had her in a strict work out routine, following a similar pattern that she herself went though each day. Ayida was also exposed to her mothers line of work constantly, sparking an interest in research and development. When Ayida was ten, her Father was suspected of treason, and ploting to kill the Emporer. For this crime, he was executed by public Hanging. Having abused her for so many years, Ayida did not feel anything other then pleasure at this, and was even in the front row. Ayida lived with her mother for the next few years as she continued to grow and attend school, however she had soon set her eyes on Starfleet, like many others. Ayida had been training almost all her life physically, and because of her mothers background, would go for the sciences. When Ayida was 16, she realized she had been gifted with looks, and a body, one that caused many stares. With this, she began to fraternize at the beach, ever watchful for any... "operturnities". Ayida soon found one, and when the academy took in new recurits, Ayida found herself among them. Halfway though her years, Ayida went on a training cruise on the I.S.S. Rohan. Ayida realized then and there, starship assignment is what she wanted, therefor she changed her coruses towards that end. When Ayida came back to Earth, she discovered her mother had been killed in an apparent lab accident. Coincidently, the person under her mother had left at the last moment, and was now head of the lab. Ayida went to visit the man, one named Russel, and shortly afterwards was found dead in his home. Ayida claimed she knew nothing of his death, nor was any evidence found implicating her. Ayida finally graduated and after much 'convincing' to the director of personell, Ayida found her self assigned to the ISS Hornet and given the rank of Ensign. To this day, Ayida serves here, and has risen to the rank of Lieutenant. Many fear her, as she is well known to be the one to give the Captain comfort...

Star Trek: Shattered Universe
Season One: Episode One:
A Shift In Power

-Cestus III Shipyards, Cestus III, Cestus System-

The shipyards of Cestrus III were filled with a flurry of activity. They were filled with Starships that were either under repair, or under construction. There was something in common with all of the starships in this system. They all, no matter what size, design, or shape bore the markings of the Empire that is the Terran Empire on their hulls. The work was being done mostly by the slave labor force which was in space suits. To ensure there was no sabotage, they were under heavy guard. The suits contained measures which would expose a slave to space if one should attempt to either sabotage one of the ships, or escape.

One ship in particular was under a heavy repair schedule, a rush job while still ensuring that the work was of high quality. The slaves were worked around the clock working on this cruiser. This is how the repair schedule was two months instead of several. Slaves were also replicable, it was an almost endless supply.

This ship was going to be on a special mission, one of vital importance to the empire. One of the few NX ships left in the fleet, thanks to the war with the Rebels, and the fact that entire assault fleets were being wiped out. That is until, a sudden shift in power had some how happened. It is not known how it happened, but one day, back in January of 2155, Commander Archer, of the Enterprise had managed to destroy several rebel ships easily. Rumor had it, that it was some sort of ship from the future.

Propaganda went about saying that it was a secret technology in development. Though, anyone that had the right sources in the right places would continue to hear more about this future ship.

The ship under repair, the I.S.S. Hornet NX-12, was nearing completion, now the new crew members had to get on, and report to duty. Two months ago, it was in an engagement with the Rebels, and was nearly destroyed when several terran ships arrived to the scene. The embarrassment of needing to be rescued shamed Julian for weeks, untill he had finally gotten over it.

"Captain's Starlog: November 14, 2156. The repairs will soon be complete. The work force is putting what ever final touches that need to be done, I don't know, I don't care as long as it works. The new crewmembers should be boarding soon; some have traveled from all over the quadrant. For their sake, the best not be late. Doctor Crane has been rather enthusiastic about his projects, having a vast supply of subjects these last two months, apparently, he wants to show Command the results, which go though me first. Major Lee has doubled the drills with his MACO officers. I don't trust him; he has ambitions of his own. Perhaps I should have Genevra keep an eye on him."

-I.S.S. Hornet NX-12, Captain's Ready Room-

Captain Julian Harrison, commanding officer of the Hornet stood in his ready room, staring at the wall of weapons that he had. It was a familiar sight on many walls of the office of a captain. Julian's was no different. The wall was adorned with different types of bladed weapons. Julian smirked at the memory of one particular dagger; he had used it on his uncle, when he discovered that he had tried to steal from Julian's father.

Julian was about to reach out for it, when the door announcement chime rang in his ears. He looked over to the doors, ready to yell at whom ever was on the other side. Genevra should have done her job and prevented anyone from accessing the door.

"What is it" he demanded.

The doors opened to reveal Ayida Lynch, a science officer on his ship, and of course his 'companion'. Julian did not react at all; he simply stared at her, and what she had on for a uniform, or rather lack there off. Her small size lead her to get a smaller uniform, her strange flaunting, more then normal, had caused her to get one smaller then usual, as such, her uniform was...well, it was still a Uniform, but it got many stares.

"Well" she asked, "Are you going to invite me in?"

Julian smirked at her as she stood there she had pushed her right hip out slightly and was leaning her left shoulder on the door frame. That remark was rather patronic, as she had never waited for an invitation from him.

"What are you doing here?"

Ayida smirked in an almost sadistic manner and stepped into the room. The doors quickly closed behind her. She took a deep breath and made a shrug.

"I was bored" she said, in an almost sarcastic manner.

Ayida certainly enjoyed a certain amount of...freedom, and power on this ship. Being the Captain's woman, her only real job was to keep the Captain happy, and a happy Captain led to rewards.

"Don't you have someone to play with at this time?"

Ayida's eyes brightened at that mention, to her play usually meant pain for the other person while she squealed in a girlish giggle. She actually had made a slight giggle at the mention.

"Well, I tried, but the dear doctor wouldn't play" Ayida did a playful pout and then giggled again.

Julian simply shrugged it off, the Doctor certainly was a strange man, engrossed in his work. He didn't trust the man, what with his messing with genetics, who knew what secrets he kept. Julian, only knew of his enhancements to his brain, for all he knew, the doctor had done something to make himself the strongest man on the ship, or perhaps invulnerable to phase fire.

Ayida moved towards the desk and then at down on top of it, placing one leg over the other. She flashed a smile at him and made a quick shrug with her eyebrows.

"So...so, my dear, dear man, what is the plan?"

Julian looked over to her, and raised an eyebrow in suspicion.

"Plan" he said, "What plan?"

Ayida rolled her eyes. If that was any other person, Julian would have removed them.

"The plan for today, you know new crew, the launch and all of that happy jazz."

Julian studied her for a moment, if it wasn't for the fact she...kept him company, he'd wonder if she was planning to overthrow him. She'd be stupid to; she was a tiny, little woman. Julian would break her in half. Julian was about to speak when she interrupted him.

"Oh, yeah, the Doctor wanted to meet with you about something. He wouldn't say what."

Julian fought to not roll his eyes. He wondered what the doctor could want. Julian moved for the doors of the ready room and heard the clatter of Ayida's feet hitting the floor. Julian moved though the doors of his ready room and moved for the bridge, and heard two footfalls behind him, one Ayida, the other his guard. When Julian passed though the outer doors, he was saluted by the two guards that stood at the door way. Harrison crossed the bridge and called for the turbolift. He noticed Ayida was next to him.

Aydid gave a playful wink as the doors opened and awaited him to enter. When he had, Ayida followed, and then in came the guard. Julian hit the button for E-Deck.

The engines to the turbocar whined slightly as the car moved downwards, traveling the four decks downward quickly. The doors opened to expose the deck and Julian stepped out followed by the two women. Both were certainly attractive. Julian sighed as he turned a corner and arrived to the doors of Sickbay and entered after Ayida had reached out and pressed the button to open the doors.

Julian entered the strange chamber of horrors, where the good doctor preformed his experiments.

"You wanted to see me, Doctor?"

+ 10 Dilithium. Good post, detail.

I.S.S. Hornet, Corridor

Lieutenant Helena Ravin entered the NX-class vessel, the I.S.S. Hornet, her new posting, where she would be serving as the Chief Communications Officer. In her hand was a medium-sized duffelbag, filled with her personal belongings, which was thrown over her shoulder. The young Canadian woman was dressed in the standard Starfleet uniform for women, consisting of a navy blue top, which stopped at the midriff, matching pants, and leather boots. A sharp knife was sheathed in a sheath at her side. Her exposed midriff shone in the bright light of the starship corridor. The lighting in the corridor bathed her in light, making her green eyes glow in an unnatural way. Helena was an attractive woman, in a seductive kind of way. A succubus, of sorts. She had used her beauty for her own personal gain on several occasions. In fact, she had received her position onboard the Hornet due to her...feminine wiles...

Starfleet Headquarters, Earth

Three Months Ago...

Recently promoted Lieutenant Helena Ravin stepped out of the office of Admiral William Adama, dressed in a loose white blouse, with a low neckline, a tight-fitting black short skirt, and black leather stilettos. Her hair was a mess, having hastily been thrown up in a ponytail. Her red lipstick was smeared.

Behind her, inside of the room, a man, dressed in a Starfleet uniform, with the rank of Admiral, sat behind a wide wooden desk, with a sly smirk on his face. The man's thick glasses were perched precariously on the edge of his nose. Traces of red lipstick could be seen on the man's cheek. The outer jacket of his uniform had been cast onto the floor of the spacious office. The man, Admiral William Adama, had a look of complete bliss on his elderly face.

Helena turned around to face the Admiral, inside, with her hands at her neck, as she was quickly buttoning up the rest of her blouse. After her blouse had been buttoned up all the way, she called out to the elderly man.

"I trust you and I have a...mutual understanding." Helena stated, in her soft, silky, seductive voice, with a trace of a Canadian accent thrown in, her plump lips moving, as she spoke. The Admiral could only nod.

"Of course. The position is yours." the Admiral replied, at length, his eyes elsewhere, as in the young woman's chest. "I...You...We'll be in contact, right?" the Admiral added, nervously, with a glint in his eye. Helena put on her best fake smile and nodded.

"Yes, Admiral. I'll make sure to contact you the next time I'm on Earth." Helena lied, in the way the best of liars do. Admiral Adama opened his mouth, to speak, however, the man closed his mouth, before saying anything. In the end, the Admiral simply nodded, in consent.

With that, Helena spun about and walked down the corridor. The door leading into the Admiral's office closed behind her. As she walked down the corridor, her stiletto's stomping on the marble corridor floors and echoing throughout the vast hallway, she held a red rose close to her chest, the rose given to her by the Admiral after their little...meeting. The rose was beautiful and had the most wonderful aroma. After she was out of range of the Admiral's office, Helena cast the rose onto the floor and crushed it with her heel.

"*beep*..." Helena seethed, as she crushed the rose beneath her foot, before she set off down the hallway, whistling a happy tune, leaving the crushed rose behind her.

I.S.S. Hornet, Corridor

Present Day

Helena let a heavy sigh escape her pale lips, as she recalled how she had come upon her position aboard the Hornet. The Admiral who had given Helena her promotion and position aboard the Hornet, Admiral William Adama, had died of a heart attack that very same day, only hours after signing the paperwork pertaining to Helena's transfer and promotion. Though, this had nothing to do with Helena, she was quite happy she wouldn't have to worry about some senile old man on her back, everytime she went back to Earth.

In any case, Helena resumed her way down the hallway of the NX-class starship, her hips swaying from side to side, as she walked. Her destination was her quarters, on C-Deck, before she would head off to meet the Captain of the Hornet, a certain Captain Julian Harrison.

-I.S.S. Hornet NX-12, Captain's Ready Room, Exterior-
Genevra was to be found lounging in the room just outside the Captains ready room; her feet propped upon the old desk in front of her. IT had been a slow afternoon and she had spent the best part of the last hour meticulously cleaning and then shinning her rifle.

At about the same time she was finally content with the appearance of her, "toy," Ayida approached the room. Genevra need not look up to see whom was coming. She could tell by the sounds of her footfall, that it was the Captain's woman.

"He didn't send for you," Genevra stated without looking up from her shinning.

Ayida replied with her usual shrug and giggle, and attempted to enter Julian's ready room.

With cat-like reflexes, Genevra stretched one arm out and grabbed Ayida's wrist. With one swift movement she pulled the woman to her with her arm pinned behind her back. To Genevra's amusement, Ayida struggled for a brief moment.

When the Companion of her boss submitted, Genevra thoroughly patted her down to be sure she was not concealing a weapon that could be used against the Captain.

Other than Genevra herself, Ayida was the one person to spend unlimited time with Julian, and Genevra did not trust that she didn't have ulterior motives. Genevra would not let Ayida catch him with his pants down. Literally.

Once satisfied that she was not carrying questionable items in with her, Genevra went back to her posts and permitted the woman to enter the next room. As she disappeared inside, Genevra rolled her eyes at the... outfit.

Shortly after, the door to the ready room re-opened and Julian and his consort emerged.

Genevra checked that her dagger was safley strapped to her ankle and slung the rifle over her shoulder. She silently followed the pair down the corridor and into the turbo lift.

The trio entered Sickbay, and immediately, Genevra scanned the room for potential threats to Julian.

-ISS Hornet, Sickbay-

Dr. Alexander Crane, chief "medical" officer, of the NX class starship was hunched over a biobed where a Human male was lying, strapped down by very strong bounds. He struggled against the bounds, but to no avail. There would be absolutely no way that he could break free of it. Dr. Crane, clutching a scalpel and a hook like device, stared into the open chest of the officer. He had cut him open, but only sedated him so he wouldn't feel the pain, but would be awake during the entire operation. While there was no real reason to leave him awake, Crane simply found it more interesting to have someone to talk to during operations. Crane poked at the beating organ, the Human heart with the hook device.

"I really suggest you calm yourself Mr. Brooks," He said, "Your heart is beating far too fast. You're going to give yourself a heart attack. While it maybe amusing to see someone induce a heart attack on their own, it would screw up what I'm trying to do here."

The "patient" wept as he spoke to the deranged man who claimed he was a medical officer. He didn't seem to follow the Hippocratic Oath...

"I can feel it!!!" He screamed.

Alexander looked up at him in mock surprise.

"Really?" He asked, "Well, I'm so surprised. I guess I made a "mistake" when I decided the proper dosage to inject you with. Oh well, I must continue..."

The man struggled even more against the bounds, but would never break free of them. Crane stabbed the heart with the scalpel as man thrusted, prompting him to scream in pain even louder. He dropped the medical "tools" into a tray in frustration.

"Look what you made me do with all of your moving around," Crane scolded, "Now, I'm afraid that you botched this operation completely! Well, I'm done then."

He turned away, not closing the man's chest up nor even killing him. Crane would leave him to die, which would happen soon enough. He tapped on a console that was on the other side of the biobed.

"Chief Medical Officer's log," He said, "It seems my patient has ruined my experiment. I'm no closer to perfecting the Human race then I was before. I'm so close, but there are always mild interruptions and failures. I just-"

The screams of the patient kept going and prompted Crane to turn towards the patient.

"SHUT UP!!!" He screamed, annoyed with the interruption of his thoughts.

He was used to the sounds of screams, but that was not bothering him. It was the fact that he kept failing on his experiments and was no closer with his goal. Before he could finish his log, the captain entered the room, flanked by two others.

"You wanted to see me, Doctor?" He asked.

Crane smiled, pleased with the captain's presence. He liked the captain, despite the brutal nature he had. Harrison always seemed to ensure a fresh supply of patients. As long as he did this, he had Crane's absolute loyalty. Crane slowly approached the doctor, walking past the now dead patient.

"I wanted to speak with you on our upcoming mission," He said, "I know we're going into Gorn space and have found something ingenious."

He scooped up a vial, filled with black liquid and held it in front of Crane.

"This will burn the tought flesh off of a Gorn in seconds." He explained.

+ 8 Good detail on the...experiment.

I.S.S. Hornet, Bridge

After stopping at her quarters to drop off her belongings, Helena decided to take a trip to the Bridge, to check out her workspace and try and find the Captain of the vessel, Captain Julian Harrison.

Once arriving to the Bridge, via turbolift, Helena examined her station, the communications station, on the left side of the empty Bridge, as she entered. The station was basic, exactly the same as any other comm station she had served at during her career in Starfleet, as if it would have been any different, anyways. The Hornet was practically the same as any other starship she had served aboard in her brief career, however, Helena wanted the position aboard the Hornet because of the NX-class vessel's illustrious history, in the fight against the bastard rebels. A brief stint on the Hornet could lead to...greater things...She vowed to herself she would make Captain before the age of thirty, no matter how many men...or women...she had to sleep with. She longed for such power.

After only a moment or two, at her console, the Canadian woman arose and strode across the Bridge, over to the door to the Captain's Ready Room. She rang the announcement chime, however, there was no response. The Captain must be out.

With a heavy sigh, Helena turned about and quickly exited the Bridge. If the Captain was gone, she decided she would head back to her quarters and unpack. She could see the Captain, later.

-ISS Hornet, Sickbay-

Julian looked over to the Bio-bed when Crane stepped over to him. There was a young Terran male on the table, his chest cut open, from the look of pain and horror on his face, Crane had the officer awake during what ever it is that he had done.

The young man, by the name of...well, Julian didn't know the name and frankly, did not give a damn about the name. The only thing Julian knew, was the young officer was foolish enough to tap into the power cells to the phase cannons for some sort of engine test.

For his punishment, death was called for. While Julian wanted more...conventional means, Ayida pursaided him to give him to the doctor, who needed some Terrans for what ever it is he spent his spare time doing. Julian didn't understand it, but allowed the request.

Julian wondered how the hell he had figured out about the Gorn mission, must have had some source somplace. That was most likely, but it could be that there was a crew briefing that he did not recall.

"Does it, now?"

Julian reached out for the Vial, knowing that if it was an elaborate trick to hurt him Ayida and Genevra would kill him in retaliation. Which one did it first would be the question, Ayida for sure, would make it last some time.

In any given case, a bio weapon for combat with the Gorn, that worked in seconds was to irrisistible to ignore. It seemed the doctor did do some useful things after all while he was down here.

"How were you able to develop this, Doctor?"

Meanwhile, Ayida, bored of the coverstation, moved away from the group. She started to look around Cranes chamber of horrors. It was an exhilerating place to be in, so long as she didn't end up as a 'paitent'.

Ayida moved over towards a tray of tools, looking down, she found a device that could take away the pain that her wrist was feeling, thanks to that no good ass kisser hag, Genevra.

Ayida stole a glance towards her and narrowed her eyes into slits, glaring at her as if she was wishing a death to happen. Ayida looked down and passed the device over her arm, sighing in pleasure as the dull ach went away.

Ayida looked over to the dead body and walked over slowly to the body, grinning with a strange sense of giddy as she studied the body with the internal organs exposed.

Ayida noticed the heart had a hole in it, probably from something Crane did. Ayida partially wished she could have seen that, earlier she had wanted to play, but Crane was a mean, old spoil sport and would have nothing to do with it.

-ISS Hornet, C-Deck, Corridor-

Major Charles Lee, the leader of the Hornet MACO detachment walked down the corridor, and noticed that a rather attractive new face was coming towards him. He eyed her body carfully, liking what he saw, particuarly her chest, and for some odd reason, her hips. Lee smirked, oozing with over confedince, and moved towards her.

"Well, well what have we here" Lee peered at the womans rank empluts on her shoulders, "Lieutenant?"

I.S.S. Hornet, Corridor

Helena had been traversing one of the vast corridors of the NX-class vessel, heading towards her quarters, on C-Deck, when a man dressed in a MACO uniform appeared from behind.

"Well, well, what have we here? Lieutenant?" the MACO officer had called out at the young Canadian woman, noticing Helena's rank empluts adorned on her delicate shoulders.

Helena had noticed the man watching her, for some time, now. She had recognized the man as a certain Major Charles Lee, the leader of the MACO detachment aboard the Hornet. She had managed to have a chance to see the crew roster of the Hornet, sometime prior. This Charles Lee, a Major, according to both the roster and the man's rank empulets, held a certain amount of power that came with the position of MACO detachment leader. Unlike the Captain of the vessel, a Julian Harrison, who Helena had learned, from rumors circulating about on the spacedock regarding the Captain, to have a lady friend, an Ayida Lynch, to be exact, this Major Lee was available...therefore, Lee was susceptible to her...magic, as it were.

In an effort to get on the man's good side, she turned about, to face the Major, putting on her best smile, as she did so. Now, with her chest protruded and her hands at her hips, she eyed the Major, from head to foot, finding the man to be quite attractive, compared to the others she had...dealt with before. At length, Helena spoke, in her usual seductive tone of voice.

"Lieutenant Helena Ravin, sir, at your service." Helena introduced herself. "Any service you desire." she added, with a playful smile, showing off her pearly white teeth. However, behind her beautiful exterior lurked a beast, who was ready to step on anyone, to reach power...this man, included.

Major Lee let his eyes wander up and down Helena's body, and made no attempt to hide it. Besides the fact it looked like she wanted him to, what was she going to do about it? Complain? To who? Lee's position, he could make people...disapear, despite the fact they were new Senior officers. That would be foolish though, it would only draw attention to him, and he needed no attention. Soon, it would be time to strike.

"Hmmmn, I'll have to remember that."

Lee searched his mind, and wondered where he recognized her face from, she was a new officer, as her patch was the one for the Hornet, but he didn't know who she was, untill now. The color stripe on her uniform was blue, she was in Science, Communications, or Medical.

"Where are you assigned, Helena?"

Lee seemed to have no regard for a lower rank, or any sort of formality.

Crane shrugged in a strange way and walked away from the captain.

"I have my ways," He said, "Let's just say, I had to...experiment for some time."

He smiled in a sinister way and looked back the dark skinned captain.

"Where are you assigned, Helena?" Major Lee had asked, apparently curious about her position, however,

Helena could see straight through the facade the MACO detachment leader had put on. This was all petty talk, while the Major tried to figure out the young Canadian woman. Helena could have him under her spell in an instant, if she wanted it. Men were so easily figured out. One could buy their trust with the two things men loved the most, either with power or with sex. However, there was no fun it, without a bit of challenge.

"I'm the Chief Communications Officer." Helena responded, while biting her lip, in a girlish kind of way. "If you want, I could give you a display of my...uhh...oral skills. I can say 'Hello' in seventeen different languages, including Klingonese." Helena bragged, throwing in some innuendo, along the way.

Julian wondered what he meant. It was probably time to do a security sweep of the ship, and check for any sort of bugs that could be installed thoughout the ship. Julian stifled back a groan when he mentioned he had to 'experiment' and then gave some sort of strange smile.

"I'm sure you did, Doctor. I don't suppose you have any way to prove these results?"

Crane had to have known that without proof, neither Julian, nor Command would allow rescources commited towards full production of the acid.

In the back of sickbay, something screamed out in pain. Julian looked towards the scource, but saw nothing in the darkness. He did however hear Ayida squeel and clap her hands, proud at what ever she had just done.

-ISS Hornet. Corridor-

Lee listend to her, or made it appear as if he did, frankly her midrif is what he was studying. He did catch the innuendo, though and smirked slightly. He wondered what kind of Loyalty she had towards the captain, perhaps she could be brought off.

Lee decided to keep an eye on this one, any ambitions she had could be put to good use, especialy if she wanted to rise in the ranks. At least to the point where people in his way needed to be disposed of, then he'd have to get rid of her.

"Can you, now? I'm sure that will come in handy. I'll be sure to check out your...skills when I have the time, I have a meeting to get to."

Genevra silently observed the exchange.

She found the doctor to be... interesting. He at least was passionate about one thing; perfecting the human race. It would be a positive thing for their people and Genevra whole-heartedly supported his efforts. In fact, she often was the reason citizens had cause to see the doctor in the first place.

She also fully enjoyed taking someone who had had the horrible misfortune to cross her, to the brink of death. She'd enjoy the looks of agony for a fleeting moment, but quickly grew bored with the majority of her victims. As a courtesy, when this happened, she'd have the unfortunate soul sent to the doctor for medical attention.

A scream of pain is heard followed by Ayida's celebratory clap.

Genevra found herself suppressing a grin.

The kid may have been a dirty hoe-bag of an untrustworthy *beep*, but she did so get pleasure out of others misery. Genevra had to respect that. Perhaps, Genevra considers, I'll send my next victim to her...as a token of a mutual understanding. After all, due to the close relationship each woman had with Julian, the two were forced to spend a great deal of time together.

It was not that Genevra resented Ayida's position with the Captain. On the contrary, it had been she, Genevra, who urged Julian to take a woman. In her earlier years of working for him, it had often been her responsibility to... see to his needs. In no way was she fully opposed to these... favors, but with Julian's increasing appetite, they had begun to clutter up her days. Not to mention the fact that it was difficult to do her job of guarding him, while he had her pinned against a wall. Julian still called on her now and then to fulfill such a roll, when he was bored with Ayida, and/or when he had already exhausted the wench. The new arrangement was much more appealing to Genevra, as she preferred to remain ever-vigilant.

Crane smiled when the captain asked if he could prove the results. He was hoping the man would say that. He took a step forward, an evil smile still on his face.

"I believe that there are reports of a Xindi-Reptillian rebel ship in a nearby system," He said, "Their anatomy is close enough..."

(Just a note to everyone, in the MU, Humans are called "Terrans")

-I.S.S. Hornet, Sickbay-

Julian thought the idea over for a moment. It was tempting, those bastard Reptilians had done some damage to the Empire. In 2153, the Reptilians attempted to attack the Empire with some sort of super weapon. Natuarlly, there were plenty of Starships in the area that prevented the attack. Study of the debries allowed it to be traced to the Xindi, to which a small armada was sent to their homeworld.

Several months later, after seaching the Delphic Expanse, the home world of the Xindi was found, and the Empire attacked. They learned quite painfully that one never attacks the empire and live to tell future generations about it.

Harrison narrowed his eyes at Crane, wondering what he wanted in return. There was always something with Crane. This time it could probably be recognition, credit for his work? Perhaps, it was a commendation from the Empress herself.

"We'll be under way soon, see to it that it is worth our while to divert our course, Doctor."

Julian turned to walk away, but then looked back over to Crane.

"This works? You could be a hero. Empress could...pin a medal on you, maybe you could even get a lab of your own..."

Julian smirked darkly, and took another step closer to Crane.

"I'm watching you, Doctor. No tricks."

With that, Julian steped back and looked to the back of the room, where Ayida was playing with someone, obviously, they were not having as much fun as she was.

"Ayida" Julian said, waiting for a response.

He didn't get one right away, this didn't make him to happey, she knows that when he speaks, she is to respond right away.

"AYIDA" he bellowed.

Ayida came around a corner from a curtain quickly and looked over at him, a slight sense of fear was on her face. Julian resisted the urge to throw what ever he could grab at her.

"Make sure the good doctor does what he's told, he has his orders. We need enough of the stuff in the Vial for a mission upcoming. Play nicely, now."

Julian turned and walked for the door before either person could protest, not that it would be smart of them to, Ayida learned long ago, do what shes told, and she enjoyes her position. If she's naughty, she gets punished.

Julian slammed the button to open the door, and walked out, going about with his business.

Ayida turned to face Crane, a look of slight excitment on her face. She had orders to bug Crane. How delightful.

"What are we makin!?"

Genevra listens intently to the exchange. The potion sounds fascinating. Perhaps she'd be able to coax Julian into being present for the experiment so that she too could witness the festivities.

Julian turns to leave the room and Genevra returns to his side.

She steps into the corridor before him to ensure there were not any unsuspected guests waiting to greet Julian upon his exit. Once satisfied, she steps to the side and waits for him to lead the way to their next destination.

Crane frowned at the sight of the eager woman. He hated her with a passion. She constantly irritated him and attempted to use his devices. Leaving her here angered him and he dearly hoped that the captain would screw up so one day he'd be forced under Crane's "medical care".

"Stay out my way," He threatened, "Or you'll be my next experiment."

With that, he walked off towards a console and would attempt to continue his research.

"Can you, now? I'm sure that will come in handy. I'll be sure to check out your...skills when I have the time. I have a meeting to get to." Major Lee had replied, in response to Helena's cleverly disguised sexual innuendo. The young Canadian woman put on her best disappointed frown and puppy dog eyes and looked at the Major.

"Oooh...That's too bad." Helena muttered, with a bizarrely seductive pout. "Well, I hope to see you, again, Major. Perhaps in a more...intimate fashion. Au revoir." Helena said, at length, before she swiftly resumed her course down the corridor, towards her quarters on C-Deck, gently brushing past the MACO detachment leader, Major Charles Lee. Hopefully, her spell had worked...

Harrison moved swiftly though the corridor as he headed for his quarters, where he could get some time away from everything, here in his sanctuary, there were only two people that would dare arrive at his door. Tracy, or Genevra. Anyone else that wanted in contact Julian would best try the Comline.

"I'll be a bit, watch the door."

Julian tapped the button to open his door, which after Genevra checked the inside, Julian steped in.

Ayida narrowed her eyes into slits for a moment, as she stared at Crane. She sneered at him and looked as if she were about to prounce when her face suddenly melted into one that looked almost of...joy. With a strange, and sudden smile, Ayida spoke to Crane.

"Aww now, now! The captain said to play nicely. This is not nice."

Ayida gave a playful wink to Crane and watched him work. While the man repulsed her, certainly she could use him to her own...deeds, particuarly with this so called 'sickbay'.

-I.S.S. Hornet, C-Deck, Corridor-

Lee watched Helena walk off after she had intentially brushed past him. No doubt, she was trying to ensare him in to some sort of web, not that he minded the attempt.

Lee shifted and moved down the corridor, heading towards the turbolift, it was time to go to E-Deck, and get some work done. Lee steped up to the turbolift and pressed the button, however the turbolift, havint been used by Helena moments ago. was still on the deck. Lee stepped in and pressed the black button with the "E" on it, and awaited to arrive to his destination.

O'Halloran Followed close behind Harrison. She checked his quarters and nodded her approval and permitted the Captain to enter his private quarters.

"I'll be a bit, watch the door," he ordered.

"Yes, Sir,' she replied as she stepped out of the doorway letting it swoosh closed behind her.

She took a seat in the chair she had placed outside of his quarters. After a few quiet moments, she removed the dagger from her ankle. She examined it in her feminine hands and frownd at how dull she had let it become.

She stood and crossed to a decorative potted plant at the end of the corridor and removes an item. She swiftly returned to her post, and turned her attention to the item. It is a square stone object. One that she likes to use to hand sharpern her assortment of knives and daggers. With a content grin, she set to sharpening her faithful dagger.

-I.S.S. Hornet, Captain's Quarter's-

Julian stepped into his private Quarters and stoped once the doors behind him closed, He let out a sigh of fustration and then walked over to the cabnit with the alcohol. Julian always tried to get in a drink now and then, it was a good past time, that is besides beding Ayida or his guard.

The Captain's quarters were quite large, much larger then any other quarters on the Hornet. Even the shared quarters were smaller this his room, Julian had room for a couch, a table, a desk with space to work in, and still have room to move around in. That didn't even count the sleeping area.

Julian got himself a glass when he got to the cabnit, and set it down on top of the small serving table. He then opened the cabnit and took out a bottle of bourbon and poured himself some. When the glass was half full, he set the bottle down and placed the cap back on, and then picked the glass up and brought it to his lips.

Julian sighed as he set the glass down and turned his head towards the computer, seeing the symbol of the Empire adorning the screen at the moment. A thought hit into him, currently, the ship was docked, and a few days ago, he had some problems with Major Lee.

Julian moved over to the desk and leaned down and punched in a few controls on the computer, setting up for voice interface.

"Computer, locate Major Reed" Harrison ordered.

The computer buzzed as it complied with it's orders and accessed the internal sensors to locate the MACO Major. When it had found him, the machine responded in the male interface voice.

"Major Reed is located in a turbolift, in transit to E-Deck."

Julian stood up strait and wondered what he was doing going to E-Deck. He could very well be making rounds, many things were on E-Deck. Including the docking ports which were open to the shipyard at the moment.

Julian made a mental note to keep tabs on Lee, perhaps O'Halloran could have an idea, she was still a MACO after all. Much to Lee's dismay of course, he had hated the fact that Harrison used O'Halloran, and kept her as a MACO. He even had promoted her to her current rank.

Julian moved for the door and pressed the button open them and looked down to O'Halloran. Somehow, she had managed to always have a chair at her posts, and still managed to be on a higher alert then the standing guards. For that, he cut her a tiny bit of slack.

Julian simply pointed to her, then pointed into his quarters, silently ordering her inside. That would mean of course, for a replacement to come and take her place for now, one of the few officers O'Halloran had herself ensared into her employment.

Harrison turned and walked inside his Quarters bringing his glass to his lips and taking another sip. He wondered quickly, how Ayida and Crane were proceding, and when the new officers would all be on board.

-I.S.S. Hornet E-Deck-

The doors to the turbolift opened and Lee strode out, his hands holding onto his MACO Pulse rifle, his finger resting on the trigger guard should someone try to take him out, they would find he was quite ready.

Lee rounded a corner and headed strait down the corridor, for the port docking port. When he got closer, he could see the two guards standing side by side of the hatch, which was presently open. The two guards were supposed to be Starfleet Officers, but lee had...arranged, for two of his MACO Officers to be on duty there at this time. The Captain of course, did not know this.

The two men standing at the hatch looked to Lee and nodded. Lee returned the nod and steped though the hatch. When he was though, the man next to the hatch controls turned and pressed the button that would cause the hatch to close and seal.
