What a ridiculous law. I do sports betting as well as poker gambling online. Does Congress believe that we aren't responsible with our own money that they have to limit stuff like this. How can the representatives who represent the people and then create a law that can't be reasonablt supported by any of the people. If people don't want to gamble online, don't. If we want to do that, then let us. Am I way off-base here?

The problem is that the states control gambling, and the Feds don't get a slice. People who live in states where they can't gamble in person can do so online, which violates state law and doesn't give the Feds any money.
