I completely agree with you! How can a legend like William Shatner end up fat, and doing adverts for cereal bars? Just shows, the good old days have all but disappeared.

Plua i dont really see what he should be doing in england. I thought he should be in America filming Boston Legal and Free Enterprise 2. But still Cerial adverts are just below him

...i dont think he really needs it. Isnt it something like 500 - 3000 per actor for adverts in england? I thought Boston Legal would have him raking it in. He wouldnt have made anything from Free Enterprise 2 yet as its still in production

Quote from ad
Setting: Police Station

Prisoner - "Thanks Bill I feel great on the inside"

Shatner - "You'll feel even better on the outside"

Class ad that, make more!

Hey he is old now and fat,so doing a commercial about constipation is fitting! He would of been paid a great deal more than the usual fee for doing a commercial!

The worst is the commercial Shatner does for a local New England Law firm, DeOlivera & Morgan. The first time I saw that ad I was like, what the heck is Kirk doing a lawyer ad for???

I think the great Bill Shatner has and always will be a cool guy. I think the recent Allbran ads featuring him are really funny, Shatner is a gentle man with a sweet sense of humour. And despite his bloated looks, he seems excellent for a man well into his seventies.

- Many stars (George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Catherine Zeta Jones, Julia Roberts etc...) do advertisments for name brand products in other countries, they make tons of money doing that. Think about it a small tiny commerical endorsed by a very famous person. I would bet he's making more money doing that than he ever got for ST. (the show not the movies)

- I've seen him in an adverstisment about an ambulance chaser lawyer, for Detroit & Metro Detroit. Goodman and Acker.
