I have a question - I saw the pilot of "Enterprise" when if first aired...but don't remember if a person from Voyager was in the episode.

I know that generally a member of the previous series guests in the pilot to send it off. I can't remember if anyone from Voyager was in it...Of course I know the timeline would have been off..but they could have guest starred as someone else? An anscestor of their's perhaps.

And if not...maybe if that was sort of a good luck charm...maybe that was a sign that the series wouldn't work out?

To the best of my knowledge, they're was no cross-series guest stars.

The only people who were in Voyager and "Broken Bow" were miscellanous crew. No one amazingly well known.

Yeah, I saw on the Bonus Features of voyager season 1 that they typically "Passed the torch," I wonder why they didn't do it in Enterprise?

this is gona sound kinda cornball but if you think about it and think about how the ENDED the series with Riker and Troi reliving the experience in a holodeck, then one thing they could have done to pass the torch would have been to START the series opener that way...with Riker going throuhg his particular angst and deciding to try this as a way to help him make up his mind, which would have at least gien closure to having ENDED the series in teh way they did. Hey its not much and i didnt say it was a good idea, but it would have allowed a torch-passing of sorts in the series opener and it would at least help make more sense out of the sensless series closer.

.....but then that gives the illusion that ENTERPRISE as a series would have been nothing more than 1 big 4 year long hoodeck recreation

They did... sort of.

James Cromwell made a guest appearence in Broken Bow reprising his First Contact role as Zefram Cochrane. It was meant to be the sendoff, they talked about how it was the first time a character from a movie made a sendoff.

Kinda Sucked if you ask me. I would have prefered a Time Travel episode for a future character especially giving the bit about the Temporal Cold War.

A crossover appearance was not possible because Enterprise is a prequel to the entire Trek universe.
