By this I mean the Star Trek phsychological thrillers that touch on religios/ political/ philosophic ideas. like Sacred Ground, Cause & Affect, etc. What do you think of this brand of episode?

Well I think the episode where Sissko and Garak combine to bring the Romulans into the Dominion War isone of the best episodes of Star Trek in fact it is one of the best episodes of any series I have ever seen.
Those type of episodes are the ones which ST has gained it's reputation Home Front and Paradise Lost are also good and there is no doubt the best of all was when Kai Wynn was pursuing Kira and Shakar and thier group for thosae dmaned water reclaimaters.
Intigue and human twists are never done better than on ST shows.

They are one of my favorites, I like when eps give you something to think about, whether I agree with the message or not.
