More black and white, yay! I feel kind of like the last one could be much more dynamic than it is, maybe you could try posing on fabric and with a distinct light source? My friend did a shot similar to that and the result was amazing...

There actually is a really direct light source but the most of the glass is opaque (although it is hard to tell)...it was kinda one of those 'I-have-nothing-to-do-but-play-with-the-camera' shots playing with what was around, and I thought I would post it just because it looks neat rather than for it compositional quality. Let see what else I have...(this is my photography computer now)
well there is this one because you like bw...but the framing is all wrong...I like where it was going though (I lost the light before I could fix it)

...again framing issues

^that is my dog, tofu

I have some nice bw ones that are on my camera right now...I'll probably get to transfering those tommorow

Okay, in the post above TM's post, your picket door with the "333" on it, nice shot. But it shouldn't be dead on like that. I mean, it looks good. But it should be at more of an angle, in my opinion, anyway...

And the picture with the glass and the bowl...I like it, but you cut off the top of the glass. I think you should have left just a little space, and I mean the TINIEST space above the top of the glass...so it's not just all cut off and everything...Great picture otherwise...

And in the picture below that one...it's missing something. I mean, I definitely dig the black and white...I just don't know what it's missing. I feel it...Definitely, there's a glass bowl or something to the far left that you should have moved either OUT of the picture, or more into the picture. Otherwise, with it in its current position, it's just a distraction to the picture...

Otherwise, not too bad at all...

Yeah all the things you said are true and things I pretty much realize... the thing about dead on, I hate when others do it; yet that picture just was so much otherwise I had to keep it. I don't know..for some reason I have an emotional attachment to that picture. It's not my gate, I took it while travling..it's not even in this state. Oh well...I know it is bad composition but at this point unfixable really.
The glasses, that is what I meant by 'framing issue,' before I could fix it I lost the light...it was sunrise through a high window creating the neat shadows and I lost it so fast so we'll see if I can recreate that...well excpet that I move on saturday..which comes to why that bowl hasn't been cropped out yet. I'm in the process of moving. This (my laptop) doesn't have editing software on it and my desktop is in a box since I took that picture...so that I most deffinitly intend on fixing. Because you're right it is increadable distracting...lol everything is a mess right now...Why am I even awake right now??I apologize if nothing makes sense, it's late.

The squirrel one made me laugh. That's wonderful

I think my favorite one is the first one in that batch. And the dog. The dog is ridiculously adorable.

That squirl sign is out on a one lane dirt road in Idaho...and the dog...he's my baby. His name is Tofu (and he's not a puppy in that picture like everyone thinks...he's 9). I adore him...he's like my child, therefor I must have pictures of him!

Tofu is an adorable name! And he looks far too calm for a puppy...I've got two dogs at home who are very much a part of the the family ^-^
