America: The Siege of Terrorism*
An RPG in Memoriam of September 11th, 2001 and dedicated to those who gave their lives bravely on that fateful day.

September 11th, 2001: the most devastating attack on American soil occurred. Planes struck the North and South Towers of the World Trade Center; the Pentagon, nerve center of American military operations; and, perhaps most importantly in the governmental and democratic sense, the Capitol Building of the United States of America, following a complete evacuation of the building after the assault on the Pentagon.




Who is at fault for this unprecedented attack is unknown, though it is suspected that the radical Islamic terrorist organization known as al-Qaeda, meaning �the Base� in Arabic, run under the leadership of Osama bin Laden, is responsible.



The late afternoon of this terrible attack, President James Rutherford is en-route back to Washington, D.C. from an event in Florida, where he is to have a meeting with a number of high-level administration officials.



The outcome of this meeting is unknown, and it is unknown what path the Rutherford administration will take in reaction to this crisis. The only thing that is clear is that America has stood strong in the face of this horrifying day, and will continue to do so as the fate of a great nation hangs in the balance...



Now it�s your turn to help shape and run US policy following the September 11th terrorist attacks, which, in this reality, turned more deadly than the real-life account. In this RPG members take on roles as presidential staff members or Secretaries, carry out actions in those positions, and helping to shape US policy following this horrific attack.

Scheduled to begin on the fifth anniversary of 9/11, America: The Siege of Terrorism is an epic role-playing experience in commemoration of the tragedy and the brave men and women who gave their lives for others on that fateful day, and our troops who have served this nation bravely in its aftermath.

Character Rules:

1: Cannot be a real-life character. Ex: Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld
2: Cannot be illogical in any way. That is to say, would a conservative Republican put a socialist liberal in charge of a department? Probably not.
3: May be a character that is not listed above. Please speak to me if you wish to have a character that falls into another position than those above.
4: If noted that the holder of an above position is Republican, it is Republican; otherwise, any party will do. If you do not wish to be a Republican, however, and yet the character is stated as being Republican, please speak with me and we may be able to figure something out. There is a reason for the political affiliations being the way they are.
5: You need not have a history of RP'ing in order to take part, but it is necessary that you have at least some political knowledge and can write decently and clearly.
