Is Ensign Janeway from TNG's The Loss related in any way to Voyager's Kathryn? Come to that, is Dax from TUC one of the Dax symbionts- and if so where are his markings? Can you spot any more of these name recycles? And episodes- take TNG's The Emissary and DS9s Emissary!

With regards to the symbiant issue, I doubt it - that character was named CREWMAN DAX, being his proper name, and he wasnt a Trill by any means, so its safe to assume that it merley a cooincidence

No, it has been determined, I believe in an issue of Star Trek: The Magazine, that no longer runs in the US, had an article about it. They determined, with the help of that of some of the people at Trek, that the "Ensign Janeway" in question was indeed not related to Kathryn Janeway.
