Zathura was much better than I thought it would be. Personally I thought it was far superior than its predecessor Jumanji. It doesnt fallow the books though, in the books Zathura was Jumanji (the board was reversible), Alan and Sarah were responsible for the fact that Danny and Walter found the game in Zathura.

I also noticed a very funny blooper! When Walter takes his turn in Lisas room the card he reads off and sticks in his pocket says Promoted to Starship Captain; move ahead 2 spaces. Later, when he takes the card out of his pocket to show the astronaut/his future self, it reads Promoted to Fleet Admiral; move ahead 4 spaces.
