Heh. I don't believe this for a second. The evidence tying Saddam to al-Qaeda throughout the 90s is quite obvious.
Take a look at the following webpage. It documents in great detail Saddam's ties to terror.
The information there is very thorough, and I'm inclined to believe that, as well a the numerous other credible sources that documented Saddam's ties to terror. He had terrorism ties, and that is quite clear.
