I say it with sarcasm because that's not why. Man has little to do with it, and global warming is merely an aspect of an ever-changing climate. To say that this heat is all because of global warming is just, well, silly, because that's just not the case.
I don't deny the existence of global warming, but question the extent to which it goes and the causes of it, which, I believe, are hardly man-related.

Its a factor and it is definitely man-related, however, I agree with you on the fact that global warming is not the entire reason for this. It could just be a coincidence.

I'm sorry...I'm a Democrat. I care about the environment. Just joking...I do...but...so does everyone...I think...

Humans build cities, oil refineries, and vehicles that produce heat for this planet and that builds up over time and you get your global warming.

Its not that hard to understand.

Global warming is part of the reason but in the overall scheme of things, the changes over the past 100 years are partly to blame because of the climate change that is due (a major change that happens every few thousand years naturally, and may incur a ice age, but not likely). And the fact that in as little as a few hundred years the earth will undergo a north-south pole magnetic change.

It's far too hot here in the UK too. None of us have air con.

Even if global warming isn't caused by greenhouse gases produced from such disgusting things as SUVs, man is to blame. Plants help keep the world cool. They provide shade and absorb light and heat, locking it up.
When we pave over areas of plants- front gardens becoming drives, fields becoming cities etc- the paved area absorbs the heat and then releases it, making the surrounding area warmer. It also leads to flooding as paving does not absorb water like foliage does.

And greenhouse gases are choking anyway, so we should still cut down. Man, do I dislike people who have no respect for nature.
