Nation remembers 7 July victims

The UK is paying tribute to the victims of the 7 July London attacks, one year after suicide bombers killed 52 people and injured nearly 800.

Cathedral bells have tolled, flowers have been laid near the blast scenes and at noon the country fell silent for two minutes to remember the victims.

I remember where I was when I heard the news. I was at Camp, my grandparents' home in the Adirondack Mountains of NY (where there were just 43 people staying there this past week (and not for a family reunion)), and had just woken up and was going to go golfing with my dad (they live on a golf course). I was glued to CNN in the family room (Fox being pretty much forbidden in that room by my grandpa, at least when he's watching it) and, yeah. Still went golfing, but I remember the scene like it was yesterday...

i found out by my TV waking me up. I use my TV as my alarm clock lol. So it switches on at a certain time and i hear the news.

Oh course its a but scary to wake up to a terrorist attack though.

I also remember where i was with 9/11. I was sat at my computer on the new, as well as watching a TNG episode on TV. Then a red bar came on at the bottom saying a plane had hit the world trade centre. News on from then on

lol. On 9/11 I was in my Language Arts class when I heard. There was an annoucement on the loudspeaker and it was as though I was the only one who hadn't heard, lol.

Anyways, yeah, it's sad to remember such types of incidents.
