Quote: | Ahmadinejad and Bush: The Nuclear Shadowboxers
TEHRAN, Iran If hes convinced hes right, hes not going to change his mind, no matter what anyone says, said the presidents friend. Though such assessments are frequently used to characterize President Bush, in this case it was a description of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Bushs counterpart in Iran.

I really do laugh at those who think Fox is a conservative biased news source, because this article just proves that it isn't. I mean, what conservative news source would have an article on their website talking about how the US President and Iran President are alike? NONE!
Only on Fox will you find this story. Only on Fox, as it says on the main page, where I found the link to this story.

For what? Doing something unconservative? People watch Fox News because they trust them to be unbiased. At least that's why I watch it.
P.S. I seriously doubt this will affect their ratings at all.

Oh, it won't. It's an online news article. People who don't check the site and only watch the station won't know, unless it was actually on the TV.
But yeah, it won't do anything to harm their ratings. Not by a long shot. This just adds to the proof that Fox is fair and balanced and not right-wing biased (a liberal friend of mine even attests to this).

Fox didn't say this. It was a quote from some guy named Nasser Hadian-Jazy. I don't think posting a quote (no matter who) is any sign of bias.
No, Fox is not biased; but no, they weren't comparing the president to Amahdinijad (sp), somebody else was.

That was the quote you were looking at. Read it all. John Moody works for Fox News. The quote was done by the President's friend, but the rest of it was written by a Fox News guy.
But my point isn't that it's left-wing biased or anything, but rather that it's NOT biased, that it has this thing that only a left-winger could put out, which adds to the evidence that it's not conservative biased.

Not really. Just because one random article pops up, does not mean that suddenly Fox is in the center. I don't believe the left when they say its ALL right, because it isn't. They do try to show both sides, BUT, it definitly does lean to the right.

I don't believe that this one piece alone proves that it's fair and balanced, but it adds to the proof. The only way I could agree that it leans to the right is the fact that it has one right-wing anchor that really proves right wing. Namely, Jon Gibson. But if you forget Jon Gibson, Fox is in the center, getting both sides to every story.
My liberal friend Kyle, as I've said many times before, prefers Fox News and believes it to truly be fair and balanced, and he hates Bush and did a little bit of campaigning for Kerry during the election.

No, there are MANY more right wing anchors on FOX. MANY more. The thing is, it doesn't bother me that it is right wing. I embrace it. It is nice to see a Republican, mainly, channel. I also like seeing Dem. being trashed. So...

I'd embrace a right-wing media outlet, for sure. But Fox, though it has more Conservative people (like Brit Hume, who was praised by Clinton), is center in the sense that it's fair and balanced, even if the anchors are more conservative. Hence it's not a conservatively biased network. I'm a conservative and I don't see it as a conservative outlet. If I did I would embrace it, but I embrace it even so, as a non-conservative outlet for at least giving the side of the story that needs to be heard. It's balanced in terms of having both sides and whatnot, even if most of its anchors are conservative or Republican.

I think that is the grief the left has. That most of the anchors are conervatives and thus let their personal biased in the information.
