PostMon May 15, 2006 8:52 pm    [LOCK] Post Star Wars Episode 3 RPG

O.K. I know I have the Galaxia discussion up right now, but I want more than one option. I've been thinking, and I've been looking into making an RPG that is placed immediately after Episode 3. Just let it be known, you will not be able to play Yoda or Obi-Wan, or, obviously, any Jedi that died in Order 66. There will be no surviving Jedi Masters that are playable. Now, I don't know how popular this will be, considering that Founder just made his SW RPG, but I figure since it's in an entire different era, it will work out. A recap of restrictions would be:

- Can't play as Yoda or Obi-Wan
- Only an experienced* RPer can play as Sidious or Vader
- Do not choose any Jedi that was shown being killed during Order 66
- Do not choose any Jedi Master, whether or not their death was shown or not
- This RPG will not be canon. All joining members will be Jedi, Sith (up to a point), or Clone Troopers/Clone Commanders

*NOTE- I will decide who an experienced RPer is.

Now, while you can't play as Yoda or Obi-Wan, they will be making cameo appearances, so I will have them played by an experienced RPer.

Again, only vote yes if you plan to join!

Would people please put what they voted, and, if you have a reason, why?

Kind of obvious that I voted yes....

Honestly, it would be cool, but acting out a movie? I don't think that'd be the best thing.
Plus, two SW RPGs simultaneously is doomed to bring about a failure. That's just a fact.

Not acting out a movie. It's the events directly after Episode 3, not Episode 4.

That has already been tried--twice. Both times failed. And with another SW RPG going on right now, starting another one wouldn't be wise.

I voted no just because I'm already involved in so many RPGs and there is already a very popular Star Wars RPG out there... Putting two out there on a non-Star Wars forum sort of spells disaster
