Okay, so the star is a crazed maniac. Alright, I agree. But the Mission: Impossible movies are all good and I'm reall looking forward to seeing this one on or around May 5th, the day of its release.
What about you guys?

Yeah, of course I want to see it! I love MI. The theme song is just so catchy!
But...Tom Cruise is crazy...

To tell the truth, I never really liked MI; however, from the previews I've seen on tv of this one...I just may rent it to give it a chance when it comes out on DVD (don't have the time or money for movie theaters anymore )

I've only ever seen the first movie, and to be honest, it didn't impress me (probably due to the fact that I was such a fan of the original series). I am tempted to watch the second and third films, though, because I hear they at least provide plenty of action.

I think I'm going to go see this. I thought the first one was pretty interesting, but I really didn't care for the second one. I honestly don't care what an actor is like outside of his or her acting ability.

Just got back from it, and I gotta say, great movie, crazy star
Seriously, though, it was awesome. Everyone should see it, no doubt about it.

Yeah I know, but I still want to see the movie pretty badly! I was watching the news about him and the movie coming out and apparently the news even talked about how his popularity has gone down and fans on the news were saying that he's now just "Creepy Tom Cruise" right now or crazy or even stuck up one person said.
But yeah, after watching that whole stint on Opera and then on the Today Show. That was so rude to Matt Lauer. Tom Cruise is crazy.

He is crazy. He's even caused my mom to replace him--her favorite for YEARS (like Brad Pitt or George Clooney to others)--with YODA!
But despite his insanity, you really need to see the movie. I'm tellin' ya, it's awesome.

I doubt I will see this. It is hard for me to take anything Tom Cruise does seriously. If I saw this, all I would see through the whole movie is Cruise jumping all over Oprah's sofa. Tsk.

Although his current identity lingered in my mind, the movie was so good that I forgot about it for almost the entire time. It's really worth seeing.
As I said, he's been my mom's choice for the LONGEST time, and she's really mad and disgusted with him nowadays. However, she completely forgot about his craziness during the movie. We all did.

I just saw the movie a couple of nights ago. I thought it was awesome! It felt more like a real sequel than M:I2 did. That one sucked. This time it actually had the team together again. And the movie was kind of intense at parts. Really cool action scenes. I almost forgot Tom was crazy for 2 hours.

I just saw it. I liked it actually. Good action, nice story. Looked a lot like the others though. Anyways, good acting by Tom, nice little plot twists to get a laugh and some moments to make you go "Ohhhhh".
I didn't like the bad guy however, kinda of a small role if you ask me.
I wonder why its a flop.

The reason why it's a flop is simply this: Cruise's impression is negative, and a lot of people aren't going to get things of his because he's so crazy.

That's exactly it, actually.
IMDB.com wrote: | Fans "Boycott" Cruise
Blockbuster Mission: Impossible III has failed to meet its box office expectations, because actor Tom Cruise's popularity has taken a sharp nosedive - according to a new survey. And a poll conducted by USA Today shows that 51 percent of fans have deliberately turned their backs on The Last Samurai star Cruise's latest movie as a result of his antics, comments and continual public displays of affection with fiancee Katie Holmes. Journalist Dave Karger says, "A lot of people came up to me and said, 'I don't want to support this movie's first weekend.' They made a conscious choice to avoid it." |

This will be the last MI movie. Thanks to Tom Cruise and his antics.
Its funny, cause virtually everyone agrees this movie was really good, yet it did poorly. As Chris and RM pointed out, all thanks to Tommy boy.

Excuse my ignorance, but I really don't know what he's done (lately, I've tended not to follow the personal lives of celebrities these last few years). Someone mentioned something on Oprah, but what else has he done?

Well he is kind of...gung ho about Scientology. Not that, that is bad, but it is strange. He said pychiatry is...i forget. Something about it being evil or a disease. Then his child's birth was all over the media because they were doing...cultish things to the birth. Etc...

Really? I didn't know any of that. I have followed celebrity news from time to time, but for the last two or three years, I've avoided all that because I have my own problems to deal with. When I started reading this thread, I literally didn't have no idea what people were talking about. Thanks for your answer anyway, Founder.

Then there are those ellagations of him being gay and his Marriage with Nicole kidman and now Katie Holmes is a coverup for his homosexuality. I sued 2 peope for this.
