Well, here's what you think it will be. Don't put what you WANT it to be, but put what your predictions of what type of ship class the next *post Enterprise* ship will be.
If your ship type isn't up there, post it here!

We've had a Galaxy, a Sovereign, a Defiant, an Intrepid a...whatever the first ST ship is (for some reason, ambassador comes to mind)..we've also had an NX class. What do you think the next class of ship will be after the current ST show: "Enterprise"..
What do you think the next ship class will be?

Well if that is the case, the question that must be answered before that is will there actually be a series after ent, and what century will it be in.
I would hope for a new ship design for any new series. Theres a topic in trek bbs tech forum debating what class of ship the titan is (riker's new ship), which is intresting. That just came to mind whan seeing this topic, because that may turn into a movie.

Maybe, but I would hope for a brand new plot if there was another 24th century series. Maybe with the romulans at peace with the federation.

I think that IF there is a new series it will be a new ship - that way it looks a bit more original on first glance...whether such a series would be original or just a mess (*coughenterprisecough*- sorry ) I don't know...
I actually like the premise of Enterprise just not the direction its heading...The end of Season 2 was promising however - lets hope that that quality of episode becomes standard and others are even better .

Do you mean like a trek version of the West Wing? I've never watched it but I hear it's supposed to be good...

Another smaller well armed ship would be cool, kinda like the defiant
But it will probably be another exploring ship again(I.E. intrepid, galaxy)

From what I know, it's supposed to be a political drama...personally, as a person who finds politics excessively dull, the concept doesn't really appeal lol...it has a strong fanbase though apparently.

'IF' a new series is made in the 24th, or possibly early 25th , century then I imagine that the main ship in the series will be of a new design as it always has been. If the ship is named Enterprise then I bet it'll be a class of ship even bigger and more poweful than Sovereign-class.

Multi-Vector! | Kirk's ship was a Constitution Class
Next ship should be a Prometheus or Akira class, IMO.

Ships in the 25th century will look more and more organic, with more things intergrated I think. Smoother hulls. I have seen a intresting sovereign class design, as in what it should look like in the 25th century. Quite impressive.
