ive always thought that the crew of TNG DS9 and VOY should have a hidden communicator as these are one of the first things to dissapear when taken prisoner

thats true but it would be weird if they must talk to there knees or feets to get to there communicator

the best place to hide a thing like this would be on the under side of your sleave where your wrist was,
this way you could pre tend you were looking at your watch (though I aint seen on on ST they most have a magic knowing of the time all the time) and then speak like security people do now.

hehe,i didnt mean for constant communications,i mean like in emergencies or when captured
