skype, its a cool new type of messenger service, basically its a voice over ip, like optimum voice or vonage, its pretty much a phone service, if you just use the basic service, you can talk to people for free on the program, but if you choose, you can call a phone not on the service for 2 cents a minute, and also another option is that for 30 euro's a year you can set up your account so that people can call your skype account, go check it out, and if anyone gets skype you just need a microphone and speakers, and you can also use a webcam.

Yeah.... I tried this, a Mic and a Speaker/headphone don't have these charges

yer I have it, and I dont mind using it, my only problem with it is when you say in your profile only speak english, and you get some random person who doesnt speak of a word of english trying to talk to you....

lol yer its great way of having talk with somebody miles and miles away and not costing you anything.
