Actually I'm sure that's not true. But I couldn't think of a subject line...NOT trying to start trouble here!

So about 3 years ago, I was a HUUUGE trekkie. And a huge nerd, not because I loved Star Trek, but because I was just a nerd.

I collected anything and everything having to do with Star Trek, I had over a hundred episodes recorded, and I had the pleasure of making it to a convention once, in Washington DC. I was so hardcore into it...but then a terrible thing happened. Peer pressure from some new friends I made. I was a weak person for letting them influence me like that, and I gradually started losing interest in Star Trek. And that lasted for a couple years.

But now I am regaining interest swiftly. I may not be a fan to the point of mania that I was a few years back, but I am still "in love" with it. And I have always had a great respect for anyone who is obsessed/more obsessed than me. I have watched the "Trekkies" documentary many, many times, wishing there were some people like that near where I lived.

Sorry this post is so long, I am used to posting BLOGS and I guess it sort of rubbed off here...but this is my first post here, ever, and I wanted to sort of explain myself a little bit.

Okay I am shutting up now.

Lol, I am sure you meant no harm. I am obessed with Star Trek too. Mostly DS9 and Voyager. But, I also love TNG too as well.

Started watching star trek back in 97. I didn't like Star Trek at first cause I always thought it was for nerds. I guess I am a nerd now. My husband got me into it. My mom says I am too obessed with Star Trek that I talk about it constantly when I visit her. She often tells me to shut up or she will put tape over my mouth.

I used to live in Virginia, but I moved to Utah in August. But Salt Lake City is very cool, lots of historical buildings and such.

Neat. Yeah, I'm still in the D.C. area, but I'm moving next year (college!). Still don't know where I'm going to
