The calendar system as we know it no longer exists.
In this timeline, zefram cochrane was killed in the borg attack, however the borg were destroyed by the USS Enterprise, and, since zefram cochrane died, the USS Enterprise dissapeared.
No one knows that these events happened.
They don't matter.
The United States saw this as an attack from Russia, seeing as they were the two main space-farers of the period.
Now, The U.S.'s Force, which doesn't exist must stop war, before thermo-nuclear weapons are used.
Unbeknownst to the U.S. government, the Russian's version of the same force, complete with un-traceable ID's, decided that it was time to stand up against the still-communist government.
Ladies and gentlemen, Welcome to Insurrection: Ghost Squadron.
Complete with a special distributer of some rather nifty gizmos, almost straight out of taiwan, japan, and china, the Ghost Squadron has contacted the U.S. government, and teamed up with the American Splinter Squadron, which is assigned to the same task:
Stop war.
The two teams(It doesn't matter which team your on, your welcome to join in on the missions) must now join forces to stop war.
Mission One: Kabul Ruins
Lost in the ruins of Kabul, there is an un-detonated bomb.
The bombing of Kabul was, according to the Russian government, a U.S. attack.
However, the United States has no launch record of any bombs.
Our Mission:
Infiltrate Kabul with a small contingency of American/Russian Special Op forces.
Locate Dud-Bomb.
Identify where it came from.
DO NOT KILL ANYONE! WE ARE NOT AT WAR WITH RUSSIA. DON'T START ONE!
Joining Requirements:
Each person requires a specialty, as well as a weapon of choice.
Gender, age, and background are also required.
As this is a top secret force, which doesn't exist, it really doesn't matter what country your from. Russians, and people from close to russia will be on the Russian team, automatically. Others may choose a team.
Pictures if you want them.

3-view Goggles: Enable night-vision, laser-electricity detection mode, and lastly, Heat viewing.

Fragment Grenade(Blows up, throwing shrapnel at all targets.)
Flash-Bang Grenade(Grenade that explodes several seconds after contact, making opponent think it's a dud. Then explodes into a bright, and very blinding cascade of light.)
Electromagnetic Field Generator(Capable of activating or de-activating many electrical devices.)

Gold 6mm Pistol w/silencer
Semi-automatic conversion kit, and sniper attachment for AK47
Rocket-Launch Attachment, Grenade Launcher.
Machine-Gun Attachment, Portable-Missile Launch Turret.

Service Pistol: Given to a star agent for outstanding years of service.
Knife: All players equipped with a utility knife, inluding lock-picking equipment.
PADD: Oddly enough, this thing managed to make it's way into existance without the warp drive. Capable of wirelessly hacking some computers/retinal scanners/Doors/Automated Gun turrets, as well as containing information about the area, this is a useful tool.

Considered a pacificist, His Gun-Blade is a unique weapon to the type. Loaded with a 30 round clip of rubber bullets, it WOULD be considered un-lethal, if it were not for the fact that it's a large sword. Due to his high proficiency rating in seeing, but not beeing seen, hacking, but not getting hacked to pieces with a knife, and sniping, while not killing, he has been designated as American Team leader. Generally, however, he finds a high spot where he can overlook the entire area of interest, and helps out his team using either his long-ranged hacking skills, or his non-lethal Sniper rifle. Considered an Environmental Hazard while in hand-to-hand combat due to the unique nature of his weapon.

OFFICIAL MISSION 1 Starter!
Commodore Bates:
"Alright gentlemen, you're russian companion should be there by now, so we're going to get this mission underway. You only have one Russian combatant with you, but, Laurent, I'm warning you, he is a bit slow with the whole non-lethal attack thing. His orders are to stay back until we declare an assault warning. Then we'll need him, not so much you. For the first part of the mission, you, and you're american stealth team-mate are to infiltrate Kabul, find the Missile, before the russians do, and either remove any identifying pieces, or detonate it. Then, we'll send in an assault force to make it look like another explosion."
Laurent: "But... what about Mr. Trigger Happy?"
Bates: "He hasn't arrived to his insertion point yet. He won't for a few hours. Don't worry about him."
Laurent: "Alright."
Lily Cochrane: "Alright boys, listen up. Each of you is carrying with you a small up-link, aka, this radio. This radio also enable me to hack SOME of the servers you will come up against. Mainly the Missile's server, and perhaps, a mobile command unit. Laurent, the rest is up to you. Good luck."
Laurent turned away from the viewer, and turned to Jack.
"Let's get this started. We prepare for insertion in Two Hours. Lock, Load, and run, got it?"
Laurent cocked his Gun-Blade, and made sure is hacking equipment was ready.
"Remember, No killing to Bates gives the word. Until then, stay ahead of me, and deal with any of the problems. Let me handle the fracking magnetic doors, and such. My blade's non-lethal ammo is louder than you are. I'd rather not attract any attention. Load up on coffee, we've got a long night ahead of us."

Kabul Ruins, hideout
J�rgen looked around in the small hideout. On a small pads were writin his orders. He had to stay in a hideout on the east side of the town, and wait for the American team to arrive. He sat down on a dirty chair, and trows his backpack in a corner. He then saw a small dirty knife lying on the ground. He walks to it, and pick's it up. Hmmm.. could be usefull.. He walks to his backpack, and put's away the knife.

Chapter 1B: Relaunch
No sooner had Laurent, and his team-mate entered the vehicle, the ground shook.
A giant green haze appeared over what was left of Kabul.
Kabul, even after the first attack, was still home to people.
Now it was not.
A photon torpedoe had exploded in the heart of the ruins, while the Russians were tampering with it.
The last reminants of the borg attack... gone. No one would ever know.
In retaliation, the Russians were preparing to launch against the U.S.
Commodore Bates:"Laurent, WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?"
Laurent stared down at the radio...
Laurent whispered: "Kabul... It's... gone..."
The horns started blaring, and Russian propaganda about the U.S. pigs spewed out.
Laurent took out his gun-blade, equipped the sniper-scope, and blew all 27 in the area into smitherines.
Commodore Bates called through the radio again.
"Laurent Here, sir."
Bates: "Laurent... the Russians are launching a missile in four hours against the U.S. STOP THEM AT ALL COSTS. ALL OTHER MISSIONS AND CONSIDERATIONS ARE SECONDARY!"
"Yes sir." Laurent replied.
Lily Cochrane: "I can hack you guys in the systems.... but you have to get me close first."
"Good. We'll need all the help we can get."
Laurent stared at Jack for a second...
Then hit the pedal to the medal.
MISSION 1B OFFICIAL STARTER!

Laurent parked the car about 40 meters out, into the forest, so that they wouldn't be seen.
"Wait here, The facility is all above ground... including the security server."
Laurent climbed a tree, and slowly began long-range hacking thier servers. Even if he set off a security alarm, no one would find any intruders...yet.

"I'll start scouting around for any patrols"
Jack started scouting for patrols and saw almost when he would leave 2 patrols coming.
He letted Laurent do his job, and took care of the 2 patrols himself.
He used his camoflage armour and waited untill they walked past him and shot the 2 patrols with 2 stun bullets set to paralysis. Then he called Laurent to say that 2 patrols were now paralysed and lie there down on the ground.

"DAMNIT JACK! HIDE THE BODIES, THEY HAVE CAMERAS THAT RANDOMLY SWEEP OUTSIDE THE FACILITY!" Laurent yelled into the radio.
Then a strange sound came from his blade.
And then entire facility shut down.
"Jack... we need to get in there... put down explosives... and get out. They can't know that this was intentional... let them think the missile blew up here."

J�rgen, who heard the explosion, was just in time to take cover. Dust and fragments of bodies were swept in the hideout covering J�rgens body. He stands up, clops the dust of him, grabs his bag and leaves the hideout. When he leaves the house, he is shocked for what he saw. Bodies lying everywere, most houses destroyed, Russian Propaganda is heard trough horns. Suddenly the propaganda stopped. The horns were shattered to pieces, and J�rgen sighs. He quickly mumbles "Americans" and walks towards the facillity. He stopped and looked to the facillity. It was shut down. He quickly dropped his bag, and opens it. He searches for his radio, and activates it.
"Polanski here. Where are you, Americans. Do you need help, da?"
He said trough his radio, while closing his bag. He then picked up the bag, and waited for a response.
