The UFP SIM is just that, the United Federation of Planets Simulated. We want to open up all the previous boundaries of simming possibilities, make people Federation citizens in a galactic sim and let them choose their life from then on. Where it takes them is up to you.
A structured and centralised environment is key to bringing the simming groups together to give the feeling of existing in the same overall story line, instead of shut out and seperate all the time.
Creating a simulation of the entire Federation allows us to create our own Federation history (post-nemesis), where a major event can be spectated or involving for everyone.
A Federation style government SIMs within the broader stories of the Federation, and also doubles up as the UFP SIM's management team.

So if you've ever wanted to be in a great sim, but also be surrounded by the "hum" of the Federation and not merely NPCs, feel free to get involved in the UFP SIM's development. Well while the UFP SIM itself is purely in development at this time, we are affiliated with another simming group called Divinity Fleet who host their SIMs on one of our boards. Their administrator is also a Senior Developer in the UFP SIM and they'll be merging with us completely upon our launch.

I'm glad to say that after a long amount of downtime due to technical difficulties, we are finally back online and ready to continue with the UFP SIM's development.
