Here is a list of Galaxy class starship names. This topic is for discussion of this class, including but not limited to, comparing classes, and discussing the class in general. Note that mentioning other classes for more then comparism should be carried in the respective series area.

Then shouldn't any and all ship comparison just go in general star trek board? I dunno, it just makes sense to me..
umm...wow, I wish i had something to contribute to the topic...Thanks for the names and registry numbers. I didn't know those or how many galaxy classes there were....

No, this is a good spot as the main topic discussion is the Galaxy Class, a class that was mainly in TNG.
As for the amounts, the class was shown on screen many times. Unfourtinitly, there were not many named.
