Hello:
A newby here. I'm in the process of purchasing the voyager series from Columbia House, however, they have run out of stock.
Can any of you help locate the series in CD, I would be interested.
Thanks for the assistance.

Doodels1991 and EnsignSkelly

Do you both feel better about yourselves after insulting a new user? I really hope so, because it'll be the last time you do it.

Thank you, Captain Patrick, for remaining on topic, and trying to help instead of insult.

Welcome To STV.com!!!!!!!!! Back to your question: A lot of retail stores should have them, but you should really try eBay. I got all 7 seasons of voyager there and I saved about 50% on each season. So I HIGHLY recommend eBay as your source for all Star Trek DVDs.

You're talking about the series on dvd, right?

Ya, ebay's WAY cheap. I personally wouldn't buy the seasons from Ebay just for the mere fact that you COULD, not necessarily, get screwed and get crappy dvd's...but that's not likely to happen, but that's just me...Ebay is a WAY cheaper place though.

And welcome!!!

Bonjour and welcome to STV.Com! I hope I'm of any sort of assistance when I put forth the following suggestions:

http://www.barnesandnoble.com

http://www.buy.com

http://www.walmart.com

eBay is also another great option, however the Voyager DVDs sell REALLY fast and the bids get high just as rapidly, so you've got to keep a good eye on them. I'd also suggest checking out Best Buy and/or Suncoast (it's a movie shop)--both of those stores should also be available online.

Again, I hope I've been helpful!

Warmest Regards,
Kat King

I realise you're keeping the friendliness of the site's community and all, but i dont see whats so discouraging to the new user (Hi rwilson!) that Doodles and Skelly said. The forum I mainly belong to encourages a little conversation, helpful or not, so long as its not insulting or discouraging.
Sorry this is so off topic, but i find it just a little unfair to scold a couple of people for taking interest in a conversation.

P.S: Hey Rwilson, anything I got of Star Trek I got from eBay, they do the entire series on DVD (though it is rather expensive). Hope it helps.

Yes, mocking a new user is a great way to make them feel welcome. BTW, check the forum rules in S,F&H, it should clarify things for you.

Now, I'm assuming we won't drift anymore? Good.

You're absolutely right, T, as usual .

Moving right along....I believe that eBay is simply the best place.

- I got scamed trying to by all seven seasons of Voyager on ebay. Now I'm just buying them one at a time. I don't have the money to buy them all at once and the prices are absudly high. But I guess they figure that a hardcore trekker would pay those prices.

As for the music soundtrack of Voyager I found it at a local cd shop. You should check out reliable .com's or an artsy cd shop near you.

- You could buy ST: V on Yes Asia!? I'm going to have to check that out. I thought you could only by Japanese, Chinese and Korean products on there.

But as for their service I would definetly recommend it if they do have them, I've ordered two of Yoko Kanno's albums and 15 of Faye Wong's. Always have arrived in a timely manner undamaged. And the prices are very reasonable.
