				| Just got back from seeing Serenity at the Theater.
It's good, folks. It's really good. Empire Strikes Back good. Wrath of Kahn good.

Go see it, now. You'll enjoy it even if you've never seen Firefly.

Unless you hate anything remotely dark. Serenity isn't entirely dark, but it's also not light. It's sort of a blend.

Better, in fact. The closest thing to a 'bad' review it's gotten is that it's for sci-fi fans. But that's like 10% or less of the reviews out there (even the Washington Post gave it a good review!)

Who all here has seen it?

				| Comes out this week in the UK. Saw it advertised on the front of the local Odeon cinema as I walked past the other day.
Seems like we've been waiting ages for this....looks like it's very nearly finally here.

Can't wait - am making all my housemates go see it with me on Friday!

				| ^ Yay!
They haven't had any screenings in the UK? I know that in the US they had a screening in June, and then this past week townhall.com made a bunch of tickets available to bloggers the Monday (and later decided to give one on Thursday) before it came out.

I got lucky enough to go see it on Thursday night, then saw it again Friday with my TA. And now I'm going to go see it with my neighbor on Tuesday.
