The fight scenes are so hilarious in the Kirk series! They hit or kick somebody anywhere on their body and he's just incapacitated, that's it, you'll never see him again!  Plus the old trick: Look at that! Where? >Whack!< I laugh so much at those moments! I like the series, I like the fights even, they are funny, just so poorly made. I'm sure Picard can do more than "Hey look!!" >WHACK<

Agree on the effects back then being a total riot of laughs now,but its still good to watch.And dont forget all the shirts being ripped,especially off Kirk.
Maybe it would be a draw,dont they both believe in the no win scenario ?
Ive heard someone say that they didnt like Picard because he was totally not trek and too diplomatic and to them Trek was fistfights with aliens and alien women seducing Kirk or W/e.......rly,its all trek,just different methods,and a lot of time,being calm and diplomatic and such takes more courage than going in with phasers firing.

It is kinda funny, the Universe is full of bombshells just begging Kirk for it  But that doesn't take away anything from the fact that it was a very good series. I think the new Enterprise movie will remedy the fistfight scenes too, plus the girls are better looking, what more can we desire? It'd have been fun to see Picard and his crew in more fistfights too, not to mention the hot women kinda disappeared from outer space by the time Picard & co. got their uniforms.

I have to agree with this. Growing up watching Picard, the most memorable woman for me was the Borg leader from First Contact. Not exactly a bombshell in my opinion.
