I would have designed it so the piano-style keyboard slid under the computer-style one. That would make it easier to type.
Also, why didn't you just get a MIDI keyboard?

If you don't mind me butting in, if I remember correctly, a MIDI keyboard can hook up to your computer provided you have the right hookups and you can do all sorts of different stuff on it.
(I should know because I play the piano.)

Ok thanks for the information, and also one of the reasons why a computer-piano keyboard is good is because the pack provides information on how to learn the piano properly and so on.

The piano part is quite small though, if I may say. And I think the piano doesn't make typing very easy. But yah, it's a nice enough little toy.

If you seriously want to learn keyboards (the musical kind), get a MIDI keyboard. (The one pictured is probably a MIDI one, but you should get one with a full range of notes like a piano has.) There are tons of free software packages out there to teach you how to play, capture what you do play, and allow your keyboard to produce any possible sound, and even impossible ones.
If you just want to clown around, there is software out there to use the computer keyboard as a musical one.
