Wed Aug 17, 2005 12:42 pm Fat loss 4 idiots, Scam ? Real ? |
|
I was surfing the web and ended up on the Death Clock (Total nonsense), However it was advertising something called Fat loss 4 idiots so I checked it out and I am of two minds.
One is saying , Hey this is a clever little program that might work
Two is saying, What a total scam only an idiot would do it
Although I may download the program I was wondering what the thoughts of you all are ?
There are a lot of dieting fads going around and I must admit I am over wieght so I should probably check it out.
Since most of the members who go on STV.com are really really smart (Well more like total genoiuses, I know that it is spelled wrong however I don't know the correct spelling and I am in a bit of a hurry I will leave it as it is without checking). So I read the information and I must admit I though it had merit, However I am no dietition (Again, I am not sure if it is right or wrong) So I don't know, Is it a clever program that will work or another time wasting piece of Pe'Tak ( I felt like going Klingon),

Well, differant things work for differant people. This diet may work for some but not for all. Everyone wants money so they'll all say they have the best diet just so you send them moola. You have to do whatever works best for you.

Obviously, they don't.
There are two simple-yet-difficult steps to losing weight.
1) Run every day. Even if you only go 10 feet the first day.
2) Run a little farther every day.
At some point your caloric output will overtake your input (unless you literally eat yourself to death) and you WILL lose weight.

Screw all those diet and "light" products, they won't make any difference at all, whatsoever. Just go for a run every day. Doesn't have to be a marathon, just a little run. I should do it, but I don't, because I'm a stupid f**ktard. But that doesn't mean that you have to be!

The problem is that noone sees the difference between the different types of fatness an the different causes.
You have people who are fat from birth, when it runs in the family. These people can not be helped, dieting would be very unhealthy for them since their body demand more energy than a normal person does. Of course, these people still need too watch their weihgt, eat healthy, excersize. No salt becasue that holds fluid and increased body mass.
Then there are people who have gained weight by fat, and the ones who gain weight by fluid. For the fluid ones a Salt diet would be best, and excersize.
For the fat one, excersize and no more fat products, snacks or diets, since your body turns them into fat(especially those milkshakes).
Then there are all these "forbidden" things, like The good fat and the bad(fish has good, fries have bad). Carbonhydrids(sp?), which you need. salt, which you need also and only hold fluid.
and then there is calory. But i don't know anything about calories.

I'd say either Weightwatchers or Slimfast. Both of which have worked for me.
