I curious to something, on tng data visited his father dr. nooien soong before his father died.I noticed that in a period of time between when data was activated and his visit to his father was along time.Do you think soong could have married someone or just had a relationship and had offspring? Could there be another brilliant scientist under his name out there in the future? There was no records on him during his absence until data showed up.I know he was wanting to pro-create but then there is a long line of soongs in the past.

Soong did have a wife which Data considered his mother ... She left the planet after it was attacked by the crystaline entity ... I don't mean to sound like an expert or anthing but after watching all the episodes that had to do with Soong, I sort of noticed how he didn't want biological children and that he was much more satisfied with having androids to continiue in his footsteps ...

Thanks for that information, ive never seen those episodes so i was left in the dark on it. So the family blood line of soongs ended with datas father, and the desire to pro-create with identical replicas(androids) of soong is the outcome. I just wasnt sure if there was a hiding family heir somewhere that wasnt put in the storyline, because there were so many soongs that were brilliant as scientists in genetic engineering.Im curious to what will happen to b-4 now that lore and data are gone.

He did have Lore and then later we meet B4 (Data's older brother androids).
