PostTue Jul 05, 2005 12:57 pm    Site of the Month: August '05 - Star Trek Simulation Forum

*Approved by jonathan95

After going into ChitChat and seeing a Mod of the Month, Member of the month, I thought for a second, "What about a site of the month?" Each Month I will make a topic where you can vote for the Site of the Month. You can nominate different sites for each month up to the 21th of that month. If there are no nominations, I will place Random Star Trek Sites on the vote. You can nominate up to three different sites.

August 2005 - Star Trek Simulation Forum

*No Website can win the Site of the Month twice. You can submit the same site each and every month. You can only submit up to three sites per month from each user.

PostTue Jul 05, 2005 2:17 pm    Re: Site of the Month: July '05 - TrekPulse.com

personaly I think it is a great idea, I was going to do something a while back then I got thinking about how the user's should suggest some, as well and then a votes being done just like the mod of the month topic is done which would make it a better idea.
as how do we know what the best site is, some people on here may think your pick of sites are the worst thing on this earth others may love your choice of sites. but if the user's all make suggestions then its more open to everybody's suggestions rather than the individual.

Voting wouldn't be a bad idea, How would you purpose that it should be done?

I still would nominate TrekPulse.com

maybe we get people to nominate sites by pm'ing them to your self for a set date to be entered into the nominations, then each month you create a topic for the niminated sites, then people like they do for the motm people post which site is the best then that site gets its own personal chat topic made into an anouncement for 7 days.

thats what Id suggest but hey I am open to suggestions people.

It does sound like a good plan. We can start this thing up in August 2005 that way people won't have to submit for this month.

Deadline for submissions: July 20th
Voting Starts: July 21th
Voting Ends: August 1th

(And so on for each month).

Nominations can be sent by PM to me, and I will post them all up on the 21th.

-------------- Current Nominations Include:

Star Trek Simulation Forum

The official roleplaying game of Startrek.com. Live-chat with 11 Advanced simulations to choose from, STSF has something for everyone.
