Throughout the series of DS9, we meet various Changelings(Founders). All of them cool and different in their own ways. Which changeling is your favorite?

There is of course the most popular and well known Changeling-Odo. Chief of Security on DS9 and one of 100 infants sent out to explore the galaxy, compelled to return later in order to share their experiences. He was discovered by the Bajorans/Cardassians. His name stems from the Cardassian word for "nothing" which is the literal translation of Odo'ital rather than its intended meaning "unknown sample". He ended the war by linking with the Female Changeling and curing her of the disease wrought on by Section 31. He taught her that the Solids are not all bad. She agreed to surrender, if he promised to return to the Great Link and heal his peopl. He accepted, but sadly it ended his relationship with Kira. He knows resides in the Gamma Quadrant and is teaching the Dominion peace, rather than war. Played by: Rene Auberjonois
Odo:

The next most popular Changeling (Founder) was the Founder simply known as the Female Changeling. The Female Changeling was chosen by the Great Link to be representative to Odo for his people and to lead the war effort. She was trapped in the Alpha Quadrant during the start of the Dominion War and helped coordinate the Dominion's war efforts. After agreeing to surrender to the Federation, the Female Changeling was placed in Starfleet custody and stood trial for her war crimes. Played by: Salome Jens
Female Changeling:

The next one is not a Founder but he is of the same species. Laas is one of the 100 infants sent out, like Odo. Laas ended up on the planet Varala, home of the Varalans. In the Varalan language 'Laas' means "changeable." He was imprisoned and was going to stand on trial for the death of a Klingon. Kira free him, thinking that Odo wanted to go with him to search for the other Changelings. Odo decided to stay with Kira and wished Laas good luck on his journey.
Laas:

Another Changeling, whoms real form we never see, is the Julian Bashir Changeling. He took his place when Bashir when to a medical conference. The real Bashir was sent to a Dominion prison on an asteroid in the Gamma Quadrant. Due to the uniform change, this is the first episode we know of in which Bashir is not Bashir but a Changeling. (A scary fact, considering that he performs a major operation on Sisko in the episode, Rapture.) He died when he went on a suicide run trying to blow up a Star and destroy the Federtion/Klingon fleets. He did an excellant job fooling the crew and even Odo himself.
Changeling Bashir:

Another Changeling was one that stowed away onboard the Defiant. He tried to create a war by forcing the Defiant to enter territory it was not allowed it. It would spark a war and make the Alpha Quadrant races easier to conquer. He was killed by Odo. Before he died he told Odo, "You're too late. We're everywhere.". A dark forshadowing of what was to come. The Dominion War.
Founder on Defiant:

There was also 4 Changelings who infiltrated Starfleet HQ. One appeared in the form of Chief O'Brien and Admiral Leyton. He talked to Sisko and told him that "In the end, it's your fear that will destroy you." It is unknown what happened to these Changelings.
Changelings O'Brien/Leyton:

Another Changeling infiltrated the Klingon Empire. He took the place of Martok and lost many Klingon lives senselessly. He was exposed by Odo and was killed by Klingons disruptors.
Changeling Martok:

There was a baby Changeling who did very little. The most important thing was he gave Odo his shapeshiftin abilities back before he died.
Baby Changeling:

The other Changelings seen is of course the Great Link. The emodiment of the entire species. They join together in an ocean of Changelings link with each other. Odo joined it but was cast out for killing another Changeling.
The Great Link:

Yeah. Sisko's expression when he sees O'Brien on Earth was great. The Changeling's arrogance was nice too.

I chose the Female Changeling myself. Great actress. She was great up until the end. I wonder whatever happened to her charecter. Do any books talk about her?

Odo, naturally. But the O'Brien changeling is a close second. He was somewhat of a stock character, but a nice one.
