So, do you like popcorn? If so, what's your favorite kind--microwave or movie theatre? butter or no butter? favorite brand?

I like either PopSecret Brand Homestyle popcorn or movie theatre popcorn--especially the kind at my theatre. And yes, I like quite a lot of butter, and a good amount of salt

Movie theatre type popcorn is the one I like - in moderation only. If I go to the pictures, I simply have to share. I can't eat it on my own and I have to really be in the mood for it.

I'll never understand how some people can devour half a ton of it in one sitting.

You guys are lucky to have theaters which make popcorn worthy of praise. The stuff I get is usually barely good enough to use as packing material.

I sort of like Orville's "Ultimate Butter" (a bald-faced, stinking lie!), but I would like it better if every piece was indiviually soaked in real butter and rolled in salt that has been ground to the consistency of talcum powder.

Movie theater popcorn usually makes me feel gross, but I eat it anyway. I mean.. what's a movie without popcorn?

My favorite popcorn, though (and this is going to sound nerdy) is the stuff my mom pops for us at home. It's just the Orville Redenbachers.. or maybe Newman's Own. Yeah... if Newman's Own makes popcorn, I'm not sure. Anyway, the stuff in the jar that she pops in the iron pot that we've only ever used for popcorn. And then when she does about three pots, she melts like... 1/4 stick of butter in the same pot and pours a little on with a spoon the shakes some salt in then mixes it, then does the same thing until the butter is all used up. It's the best.

When I was younger i hated it, but now I like it. I to mix sweet and salt together in a cinema bucket or eat the salt microwave stuff we get from Lidl. Butterkist toffee popcorn you buy in a bag is alright, but it's a bit sickly sweet.

My favourite is the plain kind you make with a popcorn maker at home
Very few calories!

Popcorn is my second favourite food, I like home style and kettle corn. It's good with movie theatre butter, but talk about high cholesterol.

RM!!!!!!!!!! YAY! We finally have something in common! Well aside from being Voyager nerds of course... I LOVE popcorn. I could just about live on it. My favorite microwave kins is also PopSecret Homestyle. (Wow! It's like we're soulmates, RM! Who'd of ever guessed?!?!) Although the very best of the best is making it at home on the stove. The yellow kernals are my prefferance as they pop up bigger and tastier than white kernals do. If I'm at the movies, I get the biggest tub and use a good about of butter and salt. People are surprised that I can finish the entire tub all bymyself before the flick is even over. Yeah, I rock.
