What's your earliest and first memory?

Mine? My father lifted me up on one hand... I was small enough to sit in his hand, I remember it was in the dining room, my mother was there and laughed.

I have no idea how old I was though.

A few days before my third birthday, my mom hid my present on top of the fridge, and I remember climbing the adjacent countertop, and getting on top of the microwave reaching for the top of the fridge.

Don't remember how I got back down though.

My first memory was when my great grandmother died. I can remember it vividly.. I was young.. not sure exactly on the age, but I was sitting in the living room and she fell and hit her head hard on the hard wood floor in the dinning room. I can remember her always yelling at me. lol.. I was bad when I was a kid. Nothing lasts forever though, I guess..

That was mean of your brother Amy. But I really can not say nothing cause I threw my sister's baby turtle in the trash outside cause she wouldn't play with me. I was 4 years old at the time. I got my butt spanked. I deserved it though.

I have a few very early memories. One was I think driving to the hospital to see my mom after my brother was born... i think... that was a LOOONG time ago, but it's something i remember vaugly.

Another is I was 2ish, and I was over at our neighbor's house, and they had a certain brand of chips i remember (Happy's Chips) sitting by their front door, and also crawling up their steps going up, and being scolded and told not too.

Lastly, I remember when I was 3ish watching TOS with my dad. I was trying to balance laying sideways on the back of the couch. Those were good times!

I don't know, it's hard to think. Probably looking at a snail and wondering what it was.

I am not sure which of these is the earliest, but both are around when I was two.

The first one is right after my sister was born, looking in through the glass at all of the babies, and I supposedly picked out my sister out of all the babies in there.

The other one is of my Aunt's wedding.

Hmm, I can't remember my first memory to be exact but the earliest one I can remember was when I was 6. I think it was when I drove my head into a concreate wall when I was riding my bike. I have a good size scar on my head from it.

Falling asleep in front of the tv while my mom was watching the news. I was probably 2 or 3 at the time.

Before I tell mine, I have to say one thing. I have a horrible fear of larger spiders. That should be enough.

For some reason my Mom had gone into my brothers' school, and she was talking to some other lady. Now, I can't remember how it happened, but eventually some other kid around my age with this big rubber spider was chasing me around the room (what a jerk). I slammed my forehead on the sharp corner of one of the desks. The next thing I remembered was sitting in the front seat of our van, fully reclined, with my Mom holding some paper towels on my forehead and the lady she was talking to driving. I needed 6 stitches and still have a small scar on my forehead today.

My older brother Joey W. and I was in our granddad's room and Joey got his shot gun out. He shot it and made a hole in the wall. He said it was me and I got into trouble for it.

Ha lol funny.

I also have another memory. My parents always smoked and of course I see them do it. I was five years old, and I seen my dad's ciggarattes. I got one and hide behind his chair and lit it up. I took one puff and he was right over me. I got a spanking. Hey he shouldn't smoke, he knew his kid will pick it up. I don't smoke now though.

I think I've remembered something. Being scared of fireworks at the age of 4 (or maybe younger).

I remember going on a picnic with my Grammy Drew, Nana Prescott, Grampy Prescott, and Nana Higgins.
And since Grampy and Nana Prescott both died w/in 6 weeks of each other when I was 2, this was very early.

Actually, I just went and described the memory to my mother, apparently it was my first birthday.

I was threeish, I think. I walked through the house and was looking at these old oil paintings my mom has...I stared at them for a while (I was trying to figure out what order they went in) and then I wanted to watch Sesame Street, but I couldn't reach the power button on the TV. I piled up a bunch of pillows, jumped, launched myself off of the bed numerous times...I don't think I ever got it to turn on.
