Has anyone ever seen this movie called 'The Outsiders'?
It is a movie about 2 gangs called the Greasers and the Socs and they are always fighting. Like, the Socs always jump greasers cause greasers are poor ans Socs arn't. Ponyboy and his friend Johnny( both greasers)go to the movies and they fall in love with 2 pretty girls who are the girlfriends of 2 members of the Socs. They get caught by the Socs from dropping the girls off from the movies. Johnny ends up killing a Soc and now Ponyboy and Johnny are in a real pickle. Watch the movie to find out more about it.

I absolutely love S.E. Hinton. The movie was alright...I didn't like that they got Dally's looks wrong, but eh...the guy was cute anyway. The book was far better. Movies were also made of "Rumblefish," "That Was Then, This is Now," and "Tex." I reeeeeeally want to see those, but "Rumblefish" and "That Was Then, This is Now," are both rated R. >.< The books I would highly recommend, though.

I've read the books, and have seen the movies, Loved them all. Well, except for Tex, I haven't seen that one yet. The black and white scenes in Rumblefish was like, awesome,
And RM, dude, give a reason why don't you. The movie addressed real issues, and dealt with it all pretty well, what exactly in the movie provoked such a strong emotional reaction from you?

I simply did not like it. I guess the movie was okay, but the book was boring and it simply lacked interest in me. I guess HATE is a strong word, and I don't HATE it, but I just really don't like it.

The book is awesome, not to mentioned critially acclaimed as one of the best pieces of young adult fiction. I guess if you just read it for school and don't really pay attention to the societal satire, you would "not really like it." Did you know S.E. Hinton wrote in when she was like... 14?
The movie was pretty good too... all star cast, not to mention half the Brat Pack.

I loved them both. When I was in I think it was 7th grade... I had a crush on Poney Boy.
Don't make fun either....
