Betrayal
I have been betrayed again
I have betrayed myself
My very thoughts betray me
My heart leaps out and "falls in love"
I can't take this anymore
This game of waiting and betrayal
The sick feeling of emotion hits me
I wish I could lock it away
Is it my fault or not?
Can I really control how I feel?
How other people, things, life, make me feel?
Or will I just end up
Betraying myself again
Comments are welcome and yes, I know poetry isn't my strong point
